How'd Nigels visit go? Did pops come with him?

I think that a lot of the Vol Football Alums had a little golf outing on Friday before the orange and white game. Dad probably came and hung out with some other VFLs.

Per 247:
“It was nice getting to see their routine during a game,” said Warrior, who’s ranked the nation’s No. 63 overall prospect and No. 4 safety in the 247Sports Composite for the 2016 class. “After the half they went over procedures, and then after the game they came back to the locker room and broke it down and said a prayer.”

“I got to stay overnight with Elliott and Evan Berry, so I chilled with the players,” said Warrior, who claims scholarship offers from more than 25 teams, including Tennessee, Georgia, Auburn, Alabama and Ohio State.

“That was really nice because I was able to see what life is like if I played at Tennessee.”

Warrior said he also caught up with Tennessee coach Butch Jones and his staff, who once again made it clear to Warrior that he’s a high priority for the Vols.

“They really want me to come there,” he said. “They tell me how great of a place Tennessee is, the opportunity I have for playing time, the facilities are outstanding, and that they have the coaching staff in place to really develop me.”

“Tennessee would be a great place to play and develop my game for the next level while competing for a national championship,” he said

“I do not have a top list right now, so everyone is even,” he said. “I think about Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, LSU, Ohio State. I think about all my schools. At the beginning of the season, I will trim it to 10 schools. Then, by the end of the season I will have five. Then, by the U.S. Army All-American Bowl or signing day, I will have it down to three.”
Also said he won't be announcing until the All-American game

Sorry he says he will announce either at the All-American game or signing day. So yeah looks like he doesn't have plans to EE

Not necessarily true. Like the poster above said and like I know to be true, guys can announce at the AA gm and still be an EE. Also he has been in contact with us and is supposedly coming to our camp on May 24 at TSU. This camp will feature several kids from NPA as well as kids from Va, Ala, Ga, Ky, Miss, and a few other states.

“Honestly, I would say Tennessee, Georgia, Ohio State, Florida, Florida State,” said Warrior, who’s ranked the nation’s No. 63 overall prospect and No. 4 safety in the 247Sports Composite for the 2016 class. “Two new offers, Mississippi State and Oklahoma, I like those. There’s a lot of schools that I like that I’ve got offers from. It’s pretty hard to choose. Right now, I’m just letting everything go. I don’t have an opinion about anybody, really.”

He most recently returned to Tennessee for the first time in more than six months, and he said he enjoyed taking a closer look at his father’s alma mater. “I got to stay overnight,” Warrior said. “It was real nice. I got to hang with the players and see the daily routine. It was real good."

“(Tennessee sophomores) Evan and Elliott Berry, I ran track with them. They were just telling me how they like … after football practices, football practice, the weight room. They just want me to come (there). I was already talking to them before.

“I just like how everybody gets along together. You don’t see no fights. You don’t see no arguments. If you see an argument, it’s probably on the football field. But when you get back in the locker room, everything’s cool. When I stayed overnight, I just got to see what players do after their games and in the weight room. It’s real nice. I like how everybody just gets along, honestly.”

Warrior insisted his father’s history with the Vols doesn’t “really” affect the way he looks at them. “He talks about his experience all the time,” Warrior said of his father, who played at Tennessee in 1990-91. “He doesn’t push me to go anywhere. He just lets me do what I want. He lets me choose what school I like, and he’ll support me all the way through."
