Anyone in the SW VA or NE TN area have any experiences with coyotes roaming around their homes? There was one in my backyard this morning.

Set out some food with the mouse feed stuff that is made out of metal and it will tear their insides up.

I'd rather kill it, but we can't fire guns inside city limits here.

lil antifreeze will take care of that
I'm sure I could find a way to poison it, but the bigger problem is figuring out where it lives and how much it visits the backyard. I have two dogs and a cat and this worries me a little. I know Coyotes will eat just about anything.

my daughter's magazine said to make noise if you see them, it's suppose to make them go away.

No, no, no....get the mouse stuff.... it is like blue bars and once it is digested the metal just cuts their insides up.

I wasn't even aware of the Coyote problem in Va, TN and some parts of NC until I started reading up on it today. Strange.

Do you think there's any way that I could catch it and train it to kill the groundhogs? That would be ideal.

Pay $50 bucks a local pound and rescue a coonhound.

You will never have problems with any thing.

Are coyotes starting to become a problem in your area? Have any of your neighbors seen them?

Ok, buy a Rhodesian Ridgeback, the only dog that is able to corner a lion, and the Ridgeback will kill the Coyote.

From what I've read, Coyotes can be found in all counties of Virginia now. I don't know about the neighbors seeing them.

Buy some hamburger meat, get a bow and arrow, and let the coyote come to eat in your backyard. Then stick him. Coyote problem dealt with.

Or do what OE says.
