I don't even know what happened with Chris Johnson.... Dude was killing it 2 years ago. Finished 2nd for the batting title in the NL. Would've won had he not slumped the last month of the season.

I guess he had to quit lying to himself and start grounding out into inning-ending double plays

I can't wait for the day that the NCAA crushes Gino and his UCONN team for cheating with the help of ESPN officials. I believe that with the help of Notre Dame, Maryland, Rutgers, Temple and maybe a couple more they can build enough evidence to bury that scum team. Pat tried to get them to look during the Moore recruiting but they (NCAA) were trying to work out a big deal with them (ESPN) so they were afraid to make them mad. One of these days ...

The march to the NL East title has begun!

Lol! I'm completely surprised at the start, but I'm sure it won't hold up for the whole season. The Braves have a tendency to start fast, get your hopes up, then falter in the 2nd half of the season.

I'm German so I choose the more miserable or conservative dish. Not looking for a Nirvana. Sir. :hi:

My family and I went to Italy three years ago.
My wife and I plotted a fairly lengthy hike through Rome that ended up being over 10 miles. At the time my daughter was seven and my son was 10.

On that day, every time our kids would start to look tired or would even remotely look like they were going to complain, we would grab a gelato. (and yes of course I gelato at every stop as well) we didn't plan the days hike pretty well in that we went from Museum two artwork to the coliseum to the Trevi fountain etc. so that there wasn't any really long hike until the end of the day or we had about 2 miles back to the hotel. The last mile was basically a pill, my daughter looked at me and said I can't make it. Y'all go on without me. I scooped her up and laughing basically ran out that last big hill.

Italy is truly amazing from a historical standpoint and the food and wine ain't bad either. :)

I wore my Tennessee colors every day that we were there. It was amazing how often I would get a Go Vols or Go Big Orange at random historical sites. Even at the Vatican!

I love giving and getting random "Go Vols!" in different places. I think the Vatican takes the cake though!

Funny thing is I am Italian and I have never tried it before.

My heritage is a mix of Scottish, German and Russian (yes very warlike :) ) maybe why I am a VFL

Still love me some gelato...
For your first time, you have to make sure that it is real gelato… Nothing from the ice cream section in your grocery store.
