Continue to get your panties in a wad anytime someone asks a question about cops. I'm going to walk my dogs.

Again, my panties aren't in a wad. I'm not the one that can't back up his claims.

I think 8188 should join the police force.

I bet after a year or so, his attitude changes.

The Army didn't give it to him. FN 5-7 and .357 Magnum S&W revolvers aren't normally Army issue.

He was allowed in the military. He had made pyschological issues and shouldn't have been in. It doesn't matter if it was his gun or not.

If a cop shot up his department with his own gun, it being his personal weapon would be the least important fact in the whole case.

Did those psychological problems come after he joined or were they evident before?

And lest you forget, he was a psychologist...

Gun free zones are the place to go to inflict maximum casualties.

Idk that. It could have happened before or after. Before an evaluation before he joined wouldn't hurt anything.

I honestly don't think it would. I imagine I would still feel the same. That most police officers are good people. But that there are a few who make them all look bad.

I'm just asking what are we doing to eliminate that element. And can we do more?

Okay, it's not a bad looking dog.

Rescue?

Believe it or not, stray.

She had been staying at a friend's house for the past month and a half after they found her dirty, sleeping on their porch. You wouldn't think it. She's very well behaved and adjusted.

I always thought they were like a one size fits all deal.

There are a couple of different types with a couple of different sizes in each type. I've fitted to the exact same one each time for about four years in a row but they still make me shave every year and do it.

It's like any other kind of filter, you'll loose a few good people. But overall its for the best because of the ones you keep out.

I don't necessarily disagree with you. I worked EMS for almost 3 years and have encountered the majority of the police officers in this town at least once. There are a handful that are just complete garbage. It just makes me question the efficiency of the screening when some of those dingle-berries made it through and my buddy got disqualified.
