Coleman Thomas Arrested - charges dropped 4/15

Time for somebody else to step up. I hate these stories. Kids throw away a golden opportunity.

In breaking news....

The Fulmer Cup has been renamed!

People will steal for anything including marijuana. Pill heads and meth addicts will literally kill for a fix where a marijuana user wouldn't.

I've been a pot head, and a pill addict in the past. I've never stolen anything from anyone, or anywhere in my life. I've never been a violent person either. There are still some honorable addicts in the world. Just because they have a problem, doesn't mean they're all bad people or criminals. Don't lump us all into one group.

It's no dumber than your presumption that people will steal for marijuana. Has it happened before? Most likely, but it's not a big issue at all. People steal for harder drugs because they can't make it through the physical withdrawals, which reduction in use of marijuana doesn't cause.

As stated earlier, a stoner who's out of weed isn't going to steal, they're just going to be bummed out.

Uh no.. people steal for marijuana, a lot.

My friend did the EXACT same thing coleman did..but it was in the 90's and a Nintendo 64.

From the more than 162,000 cases prosecuted by US attorneys in 2009-10 only 11 failed to bring a grand jury indictment. The standard is not pretty high at all.

I believe the standard for a grand jury indictment is probable cause. That's about as low a standard as you can get in the legal system.

It seems that the only thing that some on here know *less* about than football is the legal system.

Decent discussion: http://www.law.columbia.edu/media_inquiries/news_events/2014/november2014/Facts-on-Ferguson-Grand-Jury

This is an extremely misinformed post. Claims that MJ is not addictive or that cessation can not lead to serious withdrawal symptoms are, quite simply, untrue. There is an abundance of medical literature (which I have referenced in another prior thread) that shows, without any reasonable doubt, that MJ (like any psychoactive drug) is both addictive and has a withdrawal syndrome.
