Yes. He tweeted out earlier this week he'd be in Knoxville for 2 days.

I sure hope so. It would be great to get this kid onboard to help out with recruiting not to mention his undeniable talent. I was happy with Kendall and I do think he'll be a very good qb for somebody, but this kid is the qb I've wanted in this class all along. Thanks for all the info you bring to this board GFW...It's much appreciated.

Was equally happy with Kendall but this kid has more swagger and it seems like he's just begun to tap into his capabilities. With the caveat of health it'll be fun to watch his senior season...if he commits to us of course. :unsure:

GFW the one part of recruiting that I have a question about. When coaches push for s commitment that technically means to what extent. Bc I underst coaches have a board and that the higher kids on board can commit at any time. But push means.

They strongly encourage him to commit now, and give reasons why, as opposed to letting the recruitment play out and giving the recruit space to think it over

According to Fortenberry, Guarantano won the "Rocket Arm" award at the Rivals Challenge down in Atlanta today

Who'd he beat out among others? Former Tennessee commit Austin Kendall

Awesome I think Kendall is a great qb but I want Jarrett more. He's more athletic we need him onboard recruiting wr's for us

I don't have the connections I used to. From what I have been told, UT expects to land him.

Someone with staff connections can confirm or deny.
