Incorrect but OK. He wouldn't be getting recruited by Auburn to run that offense if he didn't have some mobility.

He will pick UK, IMO. Better fit in that offense, but it's a bad decision because UK sucks. He will be throwing to 2* and 3* receivers.

I also think Mizzou is a great fit.

No offense, but it's people like you that represent VN wrong. Just making generic basic statements based off a dislike.

I feel like we have a decent group of WRs. We've seemed to recruit for height and athleticism, more than just getting guys that are really high ranked (who we couldn't get anyway). Cobb was 2*. Of course they aren't all Randall Cobbs, but hopefully they develop since they are all young.

Mizzou is a good fit. Always good at developing players. No idea how the depth for them is though.

So, to clarify, does UK football NOT suck? Is that what you're implying as my "generic comment"? Or the 2* and 3* receivers? I doubt Kendall will be throwing to Randall Cobb. lol. How long has that been now?

What I said is accurate... the receivers at UK don't compare to UT, Auburn, or really most any SEC program not named Vanderbilt.

Oh, but Randall Cobb though!!

Nope you were right the Cats suck and will suck. At least they'll be ahead of Vandy for the next few years though amirite?

It's been, what, four or five years now? I no shame in bringing his name up. We don't have many pros like UT, but he sure has been fun to watch.

My point wasnt questioning the accuracy of anything you said, or arguing any of the points you've tried to make. You just seem to be one of those posters who makes generic statements like "so and so suck" or the super pro-ut stuff. I've been on here long enough to know those kind of posters usually offer nothing to a discussion, and are only on here trying to rile people up. Maybe you aren't, and it's your honest opinion. Idk, I don't think I've seen many posts by you

Hard to get excited about these stats: Jarrett Guarantano's Football Stats | MaxPreps

I get it, he's a project. But shouldn't a project get more than 2.4 ypc and 100 yards/passing per game at least? Are there any extenuating circumstances that led to these (IMHO) terrible statistics? Why is everyone so excited about this guy?

I seem to recall some debate over the stats authenticity, so don't put all your eggs in one basket.

I personally enjoy the opinions of rival posters as long as they respect where they are. I was really impressed with Kentucky early on in the season and thought they were really on the rise, and I still do to an extent. Their collapse in the second half if the season have me doubts though. I know that your schedule kind of set up for that, but I would be outraged as a fan if I were you.

Worley was far from accurate, so apparently you didn't watch many games. I'm not knocking Dobbs but he did beat UK, SCe,Vandy and Iowa. 3 of the worst defense's in the conference last yr and was horrid against Vandy. His ability to run isn't what dictates his success. When he was ppassing well it opened up his ability to get yards running. When he struggled passing he took sacks and had little success running. But if you watched games like you say I shouldn't have to explain that to you!. I hope Josh wins the Heisman the next two yrs, I really like him. But if anyone can they they have full trust in him right now to go beat the better teams then you're FOS. Hopefully Debord helps him to fully develop the talent potential he has.

You're "not knocking Dobbs"? Are you kidding, that's pretty much all you do where he is concerned. So, if after watching how he performed last year vs Alabama in his first appearance of the season, I think he can beat the better teams on our schedule this year after being the starter from Day 1, through Spring, Summer and Fall camp, I'm "FOS". No, you're not knocking old Josh are you?

Also, could it be that Dobbs struggled passing last year when the opposing DLs (Mizzou and Vandy) absolutely decimated our OL and gave him no time to throw....because I saw him running for his life very soon after the receiving the snap in both games last year......AND maybe even because our WRs were really bad at getting off press coverage? NOT the other way around as you suggest?

Guarantano has said his final three are Ohio State, Tennessee and Rutgers. After talking to some people this morning close to his recruitment I think Rutgers is running third right now.

The Tennessee visit in a few weeks is going to be a big one from what I understand.

Lmfao!! OK Brother!! Guess we can agree to disagree. Do admire the effort!I hope like hell Dobbs becomes one of the best QB's in the country this yr. He just has a long way to go. And if you are putting your eggs in the Alabama game basket then you didn't watch Ala play much last yr. I will refer you to passing yards they gave up to W.VA, Auburn, Ohio St and even Mauk torched that secondary a good bit. That was not a typical Saban secondary, they were statistically worse than our secondary. But to this point I don't have the confidence that he can play well and beat the more elite teams on our schedule.Beating UK, a very bad SCe defense and almost losing to a horrid Vandy team hasn't instilled that yet. And most Vol fans I know feel the same. But we all see the potential to lead us to great things, but until he does do it I will have that lack on confidence. He can change that quick this yr by beating OU and finally beating UF.
