Yup. Its not that uncommon for a school to not take a QB. I believe at least 3 SEC schools didn't take one in 2015. Butch and company struck out in 2014 with a class of 30+.
Struck out or opted out? I believe it's the latter after the top 2 on the board were gone.
After that they didn't settle just to take a QB. They filled other positions of greater need at the time and come home strong in '15 IMO.

However, the next month or so will be used to get to know other programs better, and it will begin with a March 21 trip to Tennessee.
Im going to spend two or three days there, Guarantano said. Im going to get to talk to the new offensive coordinator, coach (Mike) DeBord, and go over some offensive concepts and stuff.
