Cal, Auburn, and Vols all in NIT?

He will get at least 3 and probably 4, I wasn't suggesting he would be canned after 2 seasons, but back to back NIT trips or worse and we see what that gets a coach at Tennessee, Tyndall better follow it up with at least a Sweet 16 in year 3 if he doesn't want a BBB petition started.

Basketball can be turned around very quickly, using the previous coach as a cop out for multiple seasons is lame, but with that said...where would this team be without Martin landing Moore and Richardson and leaving them for Tyndall?

Moore was doing nothing under CM. Best thing for him was Cuonzo leaving

Did you sign the petition? I can't remember.

The SEC is tougher. We don't have McKnight, Woodson, McGhee. Even Lopez could've helped some.

Most media members in town think Tyndall has worked a minor miracle with this roster. I don't know of any credible media member who doesn't think that come to think of it.

The years not over, you think if they finish 15-15 that's a minor miracle?

Im curious to see the progression of Auburn, Marquette, Missouri and Virginia Tech from Year 1 to Year 2.

I don't think CDT is as fragile as the last coach to allow the fans or a petition to bother him.....if he is then we got the wrong guy.

U seem to think small as in individual seasons.....I couldn't give a sh$t how this season or next compares to the previous yrs....it has to do with whether or not CDT can build a program or not....I'm not sold on him and if he is not the answer then it will be time to move on....I am 100% positive the previous coach was not the answer.

I have already seen enough to know he can coach well enough to get the job done.

The only question is whether or not he can build a roster that can take us to the next level. He showed a lot of promise in that area by assembling a pretty good roster in the spring considering the circumstances. But it's obvious we need more talent.

I'm willing to give the guy a chance to recruit. Just as we both were with Zo.

It's too bad that you are sitting around hoping Tyndall fails.

Yeah I'm 100% sold on his coaching....praying he can build a team.

Geeze dude...how many times are you going to dodge and re-word this question??

You signed the petition and you were one of CCM's biggest supporters. I shudder to think what you will do if things go south for CDT.

If we aren't dancing by year 3 he's not the answer IMO

I hope he's here 30 years, the last thing Tennessee needs is another coaching change.

I like his system, I wanna see if it adjusts to take away the wide open 3's that have been an issue and IDing hot shooters, but his matchup zone is a nightmare for teams especially in a tournament setting where there is a quick turnaround.

You mean stokes and maymon.

He hasn't gotten any better playing under DT, he's just been forced to contribute more due to the roster

I agree with that....it's another problem I had with Zo's recruiting....even his lower rated guys didn't fit Zo's system at all
