not to take away from the sadness of the loss of Coach Smith, but if this has become a dual thread, it's worth noting that Duke is apparently slotted to introduce a blue with white lettering Hyper Elite Domination uni tonight against FSU. I'm imagining it looks just like the white one, only colors reversed. I never cared for the black striping, so I'd be fine if they replaced both the road and home unis permanently.

I think Roy must have had some bizarre spiritual experience this past week, with the passing of Dean.

I'm not quite sure what he's trying to do with the lineups he's thrown out on the floor thus far, but it's like watching F-Troop.

Don't think I've ever seen a team "out-UNC" UNC. The Heels are playing fairly well; Pitt is just on another planet today. I'm not sure anyone would beat them today. Unreal.

And, per usual, Roy using timeouts like he only has one left, even though he's getting his rear kicked.

Not fairweather. You could tell from the opening tip that a beatdown was in store today. Even when we tied it up at 18 or 20 (whatever it was), I never got the sense that it was going to last long.

Pitt is just in another gear today.

I don't think I've ever seen a UNC team get 100 hung on them, but we may very well see that today.

I will say that I would have set the starters with about 10 minutes left and spent the rest of the game chewing their asses.

Sheldon Jeter averages 3.7 ppg on the season. 22 today.

Can't say as I've ever seen a coach (Dixon) take a timeout after his team went on a 6 or 8 to 0 run towards the end. Just another embarrassment for the Heels today.

Honestly, I'm not really going to fault UNC. Pitt was just out of their minds today, and you could tell it from the opening tip when the dude caught it in full stride uncontested to the basket.

Doing my part to ensure that UNC fans with their heads stuck in the sand are reminded daily about the FACTS and severity of this wretched, disgusting, indefensible violation of academic integrity committed by their University in the name of athletics. On top of that, laws have been broken and taxpayers defrauded. People need to go to jail for this.

Let me guess, it's over and it's "time to move forward?" That's laughable. UNC has lawyered up like a damn oil company that just ruined the Gulf. This thing is just getting started.

Not to mention the literal decades of sanctimony and hypocrisy, using NCAA connections and influence to start investigations at other schools, ruining Jimmy V's career and reputation before the poor man died of cancer (no wonder NC State fans hate you so much), having the gall to foist the APR system on the rest of Div 1 athletics knowing UNC would be immune to any penalties due to the academic eligibility scheme in place. The NERVE.:finger3:

UNC is the college sports equivalent of a Catholic priest who, after shoving piety and self righteousness down everyone's throats, got caught running a massive anal cabal and sodomizing little kids for 20+ years.

I guess he forgot about LSU basketball getting sanctioned back in the late 90's after Dale Brown was accused of paying Lester Earl to come play basketball for the Tigers.

The alleged "bag man" in that transaction?

There's no doubt something very wrong, something very bad, happened in Chapel Hill throughout the last decade or two, but there's skeletons in every closet. I've stopped accusing other programs in basketball and football of wrongdoing, because we're pretty much all dirty.

Ok guys lets get back to the real matter at hand. Who's ready for Wednesday night? I hate playing UNC coming off of a loss, you never know what can happen when these two teams get together. Out of respect for Coach Smith I have refrained from being critical of UNC for the last week. It's game week, that changes now.

GO TO HELL CAROLINA! GO TO HELL!
