It was neat to hear DeBord talk about how detailed they were getting on watching the plays. I'm sure every coach does this, but you have to imagine that his experience adds a lot in that film room.

I'm finally a believer that Dobbs and this offense can be the real deal in 2015.

I don't think Coach Jake was pushed out, but sometime before the bowl game and after Ohio State displayed power running in the playoffs, a conversation between he and Butch occurred...where this offense was going to emphasize what Butch preached about when taking this job, and we've gotten away from...Coach Jake suddenly realized a lifelong dream to coach QBs in the NFL...life goes on.

I respect people that are able to follow through with this, but it was much easier to accomplish when this rule was created since people were married around 12-16 years of age.

The average person probably lost their virginity at an earlier age back then-- consummation of the marriage-- than now, but now the average person gets married at least a decade later than back then.

The questions about Payne/Bowles being named as witnesses and transferring because of it... Also the Mike Williams one.. Not really what that press conference was about

I said all along about this Debord hire to trust Butch. He knows wtf he's doing. I was impressed with listening to Debord.

Whether he's been out of coaching for a cpl years and his age that people kept bringing up is irrelevant, imo. Pretty sure Jancek is close to the same age as Debord and I remember lots of people questioning Butch for bringing CJJ with him from Cincy as DC. Well, I don't hear many people questioning Jancek now with what he's done with the D so far.

Can we drop the he's too old and hasn't coached in two years crap and let him do what he does and then judge? Butch hasn't really given me a reason not to trust his decision making to this point so I truly think this is the best hire as far as OC experience and most importantly the right fit for the staff/players as a whole and the family feel that Butch obviously considers very important. The staff has to have great chemistry just like the players on the field do.

Time for all of Volnation to support Butch and his decision for bringing Debord in. I'm in a 100%. Let's get it, Coach DeBo!
