I'm glad you are defining all conservative individuals that happen to be religious as Taliban.

Kind of like the guy with the thread pinned at the top of the page.

I don't know why people get so worked up about whether or not someone else believes in evolution or not.

Does it really matter?

Not in the least and he should just say that it's not important what he believes regarding evolution and that the US has more important concerns to deal with....

Thanks, I don't believe we evolved from monkeys but it's no secret the earth is much older.

Evolutionists don't believe we evolved from monkeys either. Why is this even a thing? Who is teaching this to the creationists?

It's about education.

My wife, kids and I are going to take a page out of the Creation Museums treasure trove of knowledge and set out to St. Thomas on a pine log for vacation this year.

What could go wrong?

It's the first sign you can't debate someone in evolution. If they say I just don't believe we evolved from monkeys then just stop. They are so clueless just stop. It is pointless.

I mean, is this taught in Sunday School?

The sheer numbers of people who profess to understand evolution - and are so wrong. It's remarkable.

Every body wants to bash but I can't get a couple questions answered.

1. Where/what did we evolve from?

2. If we're preaching education, why is still taught that the Americas were populated by the Bering strait and that Columbus discovered America?

No I don't think it's that. I think it is just become the go to line for them. Kind of like look how stupid you are you think we used to be monkeys. It is crazy and just shows their ignorance on the matter.
