I can't remember what game it was, but I remember someone commenting about the play where we faked outside action and hit Lane down the middle. It was probably a 20-25 yard game. Someone said that if that was Kamara, it would have been a TD. Someone who can hit a home run will make the offense even more lethal.

Only criticism ive had for hurd is he runs a little stiff. Especially his ball hand/arm. Its always glued to his side. Whish isnt terrible because he never fumbles (other than two botched exchanges that i can remember) but it severely limits his speed and explosive cuts. He ran a lot looser vs iowa and we saw the results. He could have had 300 yards in that game if butch wanted. Best example of the glued arm im talkin about is his long sideline run vs okie.

Hes fast even with it happening but if he swings it more he can get to top speed and make better cuts

I've been saying that for years. When's the last time a team won a super bowl with a QB making max money? Brady knew that, which is why he took less money for a ring. Can't afford 15+ mil on one player and still have enough other pieces to win it all. I'm sure it's happened, and I'm not a big enough nfl fan to know the stats, but guessing very rarely in the past twenty years has a team with a 15+ mil QB won it.

I believe we get too fixated on the home run. With an improved O Line and another year in weight room he will be able to get the tough yards in 4th quarter. This plus good defense is how you win games.

I'll be starting my own pay site in the near future. My daughter got hired in the athletic office.

I told her good old dad better get the inside recruiting scoops.

Of course just kidding about the site but hopefully I can get some real info to pass along.

Noticed that TW hasn't posted since a couple days after Bammer lost to Ole Mi$$ on October 4th (last on Oct. 6th). Don't miss him at all, hope he stays gone.

Would rather he pound the defender multiple times for a TD than to Arian Foster it out of the endzone

Wow Dollar Store Dave Hart and Butch making a terrible hire. Does she even have experience with our offense, or with coaching QBs? This hire just doesn't make sense for us. I doubt she can recruit at an SEC level either. Maybe it's just a smokescreen for a real hire, or they're going to hire someone else to co-operate at the position with her.
