What's crazy to me about Dobbs is his completion percentage. He finished at over 63% for the year, which is pretty darn good and better than I expected. I want to see him progress and be more consistent from game-to-game this year. Take out the bowl game for instance, and his percentage drops almost two points. Just the prior game at Vandy, we had absolutely no aerial attack. He seemed to sail the ball over wide open receivers at times and was prone to too many interceptions.

I'm pro-Dobbs, but he has a lot of room for improvement. If he does we could be looking at a very special season.

If Dobbs develops consistency in the passing game, we'll have the potential to beat anybody.

Vandy actually played a pretty good game against us. Their DBs were covering Pearson, Pig, and Malone/Croom nicely and their DL was getting a lot of pressure on Dobbs. As bad as they were, that was an impressive win and nearly a mirror image of the game last year with Dobbs struggling to connect and throwing picks.

That's what concerns me. If Vandy can game-plan against him, what will the rest of the conference do with a little film? It's important to note we were limited in our receiving options both times against them, but still I expect at least over 100 yards passing.

Here's his 2-year combined stats against Vandy:

22-39 (56.4%), 145 yards, 0 TD's, 4 int

4 thoughts:

1. Did the dude think he was gonna hold back the elevator? Maybe he was trying to break the leash.

2. Why didn't the lady hit the big red stop button?

3. Thank goodness it wasn't a harness. (Oh dang it kinda looks like it was a harness.)

4. Dog just fell in love with stairs.

I have one thought;

That lady is a douchebag.

It almost sounds like I'm bashing the kid, but I'm really just seeing there's a legitimate next step he needs to take in order to be the QB we all know he can be.

Oh yeah, and STAY HEALTHY!!

I have no idea how this gif would apply to any situation, and it's completely off topic, but yet so awesome I had to leave it here:

I don't know... I think this has all sorts of "mark Richt has lost control of ____" potential

Been watching the news story about Vandy football player Corey Batey being interviewed by Dr. Phil and his claim of not knowing or remembering anything about the crime. Didn't he send out some texts on his phone shortly after this happened? Seems like I recall that being said when the information first came out.
I've never seen anyone that was so drunk they couldn't remember anything they did if they had any control over their body. If they were that drunk they would be unable to stand or even sit up and in most cases passed out. His jury didn't believe his crap story and I don't either.

SMH. Regardless of what this creep says the surveillance tape, selfies, texts, eyewitnesses, cellphone videos all tell the tale. There is more evidence in this rape case than the norm.Just stupid.

I can see the I was drunk or stoned defense becoming the new temporary insanity .

I was so drunk when I cheated on my taxes.
I was so hopped up on meth I jaywalked.
Honey it's ok I was drunk when I got busted with that hooker.
The culture at the crackhouse caused me rip the tag off my mattresses.

^We're losing to Arky by about a thousand. No way their future is even close to ours

Hurd went out early, so we had no running attack. Lane was playing injured. Crowder being out hurt us. The key is staying healthy, though we are building depth to help with that.

I like Carson. But Cruz is my number one choice.

What's wrong with Hillary? :)

Would be fun for her to find a way of attacking Carson..."so you ripped those conjoined twins apart, while I was blaming an attack against one of our embassies on a movie Dr. Carson? What qualifies you to make important decisions for our country".
