It's good to be front page news again...
I've seen UT being at the forefront of many things recently. The ESPN commercial about NSD and its implications in CFP 2016. The very first cap it shows is Ohio State, last years winner and the team that should be the favorite next year, the second cap? UT. Then it sped through the rest of the caps.
SIAP Here's a video interview of Drew Richmond shortly after he signed. Seems like a classy kid

As I said in the Richmond thread, it's hard to find a diva in this interview. His flippity-flopping was making some think he was an attention-seeking narcissist. It certainly seems like he just struggled with the decision. Having so many pushing him to Ole Miss for so long probably didn't help.
RTI just made a bold statement. Hearing Dontavius Blair will not be around next year if he doesn't grab the position and prove himself he will transfer.

Is it really that bold though? If he can't grab it after already coming from JUCO, a year in the program with a redshirt, and with only two years left, what's he going to do?
I really, really hope he works out. This team needs all the productive tackles it can get. I feel like the interior will be just fine if they can get the outside pegged. I know they just brought in several young, talented tackles, but I'd really rather see an older, stronger guy take command of the left side.

You are correct WV, not bold but more shocked/disappointed I should say. They said the coaching staff is very frustrated with DB and he still isn't putting the effort into the position in off season workouts as well.

Not that it affects the content and discussion of the statement that was made, but it wasn't RTI. It was Jon Reed and Kyle Tasman. I'm not sure of their credentials, but they certainly aren't very easy to listen to on the radio...amateur hour!
Chuckie, I was listening to RTI their live show just now on the app. I'm not sure about Jon Reed, but the guys IMO on RTI do a great job and are pretty good at what they do. Again, just my opinion.
Well, I guess it's just a coincidence then. They made the exact same statement at almost the exact same time, on their show, Four Quarters, on WVLZ. RTI used to stream live on their app from 10-11 but, as of February 2, they are live on WVLZ from 1-3 each day, so I think you were hearing the same thing I was, which is not RTI.
And, just to confirm, I switched over to the RTI app and hit play, and it was playing the same programming as is on WVLZ (right now, it's playing Dave Hooker).
And, just so I'm not mistaken, I agree about RTI. I think they do a great job and bring excellent information.

Re: Who thinks Alvin Kamara is really 5 star worthy? Reply
He's not. Those dumb ass idiots at rivals HQ in Nashville were pumping the tenn recruiting machine in a painfully obvious fashion this year:
1. That Mckenzie DT is a fat, overweight, NFL connected dip**** that doesn't deserve a higher ranking than the beast TT
2. The DE that received a 5th star after the army game was a crock of ****. Yes he deserved to rise in the ranks but not to 5 star status. His disruption in the game was due to blown assignments. No one that small will play like a 5 star in the SEC
3. Kamara is a *****. Not sec worthy and will never make an impact at Tenn. Just more smoke and mirrors from that dip**** crew in Nashville
Kamara - I really like pairing he and Hurd in the backfield. If the o-line improves they can have a great year with Dobbs providing an extra threat.
McKenzie - Hard to imagine him being kept off the field if he gets in shape. He's just so big and strong. He'll play a lot.
Phillips - If he's healthy he will play. He's very dynamic. Getting that shoulder healthy is a must this spring and summer because he will contribute.
Richmond - So much opportunity at either tackle spot that Richmond will have plenty of chance to play. He still has to work on some technique things and get stronger, but he's got a ton of potential.
Martin - I'm really looking forward to the battle between him and Moseley in the fall. Martin is bigger and stronger and probably more explosive, but he's less polished after a year in juco.
