Just curious where they may have seen or heard this reported? Lots of mentions online of keeping the staff intact after Sanford supposedly turned down tOSU, but I can't find anything more recent (from the last couple of weeks).

I think if Butch can build on last year with 8 wins plus a bowl game win, or even 9 plus a bowl game, recruiting will be even better. It will be interesting to see if he takes some of the lower ranked guys early this cycle. I don't see how we can take another full class next year with two confirmed blue shirts. I expect a smaller class but very high quality.

Going into next season, there is going to be some serious chatter about the Vols. It really has already started. We are going to be an exciting team to watch and people are taking notice. I wouldn't be surprised if we see game day at the Oklahoma game, because I have a feeling we will both be ranked in the top 20 at that point.

I look at the 2015 team as essentially being a better, more experienced, and deeper version of last year's team.

We were 4 points away from winning the East and 12 points away from being 9-3 in the regular season and undefeated in the division.

Next season we bring back everyone who counts except A.J. and add depth across the board. Kamara, Martin, and McKenzie will all be upgrades at their positions as well. The OL will have another year of weight room experience and development. All the WRs will be healthy. It's going to be a fun year. I think the offense will be top 40 and the defense will be top 25.

I would guess he would be very picky. Take 7 of the top 10 instate, Warrior, and then be selective with everyone else.

When I see this schedule, I easily see 8 wins (though Lord strike me down if I even attempt to call FLA a win between now and Sept. 26). With good coaching 9 wins is attainable, IMO. Lot's of question marks for a lot of teams on this schedule.

Mostly why 8 wins should be the minimum imho. Add that the East is still down and UF has a new coach.

We are young but have a lot of game experience coming back. Defense and OL will have a lot of upperclassmen starting.

The reason I see only 8 wins is we are ONE injury away at Quarterback and Running Back from being severely limited.

I can agree with this, but if we have an injury then I change my expectation. But as of today I'm in for 9 wins. If someone irreplaceable gets hurt, I won't get mad when the results aren't the same.

I see 5-7 next year. All the 5* this year will be big busts. Butch can recruit but he is a horrible coach.
