Let's see if I can knock one out before heading to class...

Oh Florida was a happy sight when they signed Jim McElwain
But once they got near signing day, their joy began to wane.
For while he coached up CSU, the fans forgot to check
To see if when he was on the trail the recruits he could beck.

For Florida's class was a ghastly sight when they fired ole' Muschamp
Though the state was filled with stars, they all chose to decamp,
They called on Jim to save the class, but they all soon found out
That McElwain was Dooley's match when it came to 'cruiting clout.

Edit: If anybody wants to buy me a beer for that one, they can meet me at Sunspot at 3:40! (All bards receive alcohol for their services.)

Lyrical is modifying "knowledge of underwhelming recruiting". So it would be a knowledge of underwhelming recruiting expressed lyrically, rather than possession of a lyrical knowledge in general, or a lyrical knowledge of recruiting.

(So I say, talking out my a*s.)

I admit I did. I'm usually pretty positive and try to see the good in things. I thought a few top 15 classes and coach them up then we would start pulling the top 5-10 classes after we started winning again..... Only I didn't take into account they weren't getting "coached up" (or even made to lift weights for that matter) and also didn't take into account that most of his recruits, even the higher ranked ones, had some sort of asterisk or baggage with them.

What can I say? I'm an orange kool-aid drinking sunshine pumper :)

UT's recruiting at this point in the rebuilding is absolutely insane. Hope you all appreciate it because it's truly one of the craziest things I've ever seen. Can the 16 class be this good? Would be awesome to keep building depth.

8+ wins next year and it will be better. Smaller, but better.
