Cory Batey thought he would 'beat' rape charges, mentor says

Former Vanderbilt University football player Cory Batey still appeared confident that he would "beat" the rape charges during his lunch just hours before he was found guilty Tuesday afternoon, according to Byron De'Vinner, a Batey mentor, who ate with him in the courthouse cafeteria.

I would not let my child anywhere near this guy. His name comes up way too often in a negative light.
