The one day visit should tell us what we need to know. I think Richmond will swing into Knoxville chanting some Hotty Toddy nonsense and be gone before his cup of coffee gets cold.

Hopefully the staff focuses their energy on Pat Allen.

I'd focus primarily on Allen. If Richmond wants to flip fine but I'm not trusting anything the kid says at this point and I wouldn't trust him in proximity of anyone we don't have locked up right now.

After everything is said and done, more is said than done.

Now that I have cleared that up, I think Richmond will end up where his mom wants him (Ole Miss).

That coach played at Memphis. Even though there is an OM grad on staff, it isn't him. I think that coach is just telling it like it is, not necessarily influencing him one way or the other. I know someone who also played for Memphis and knows Rodgers.

Richmond is just doing this for pub. On signing day he is going to say I turned down UT and Bama to play at Ole Miss. Just an attention getter.

I really do not see him as a team player and would cry about playing time continuously.

Agree with onevol, I think Richmond is doing this for attention and just to spurn the Vols at the end.

Now don't get me wrong, if we somehow land him I will be happy.

There is. I mean even mods on other sites have said that the whole thing turned when MUS Ole Miss alums started having cookouts for Richmond and his family. Clearly there is a ton of MUS pressure for him to go there.

And those coaches still hold a grudge against Jones and his staff for the Alex Dale / Cincy situation which I know for a fact was a University issue and totally out of CBJ's hands.

I hope he coaches learned the lesson given in "the boy who cried wolf." This is like the third time he has had a "renewed interest" in Tennesee, but Butch going all in on him early and buying his bs put us in this situation so you might as well swing for the fences, amirite?

Agree that DR is tripping to the Vols & Bama for one last media interest to keep his name prevalent on NSD. Still wants to be a story. He won't flip, too much to be lost.

Dale was recruited to Cincy and apparently thought he would receive an offer at UT and was never re recruited? I may be way off but I think it was something along those lines. Feel free to correct or add to this lol.
