Dad graduated from Overton, mom is from Hernando, I've done business in Memphis for seven years...just stating facts.

...but I'm one of the few people who actually really like Memphis.

I go to Memphis for the BBQ. We only live about 2 hours away. Just like any other city you got to know the right areas. Downtown has really cleaned up in the last few years. I like Memphis too!

I don't necessarily like the idea of splitting the weekend with Bama. But at least he is coming. My eyes will be glued to his recruitment all the way up to signing day.

Some people go to Memphis for the BBQ, I go for Gus's chicken. Good food, no doubt. :hi:

Leornard's and Germantown Commissary are my fav's but...bbq isn't my favorite thing, so I have to be in the mood for it.

Russo's Pizzeria in Germantown, now...oh man, good stuff.

It now appears that the rigors of recruiting have worn thin with Richmond and his family and that decision-making process has been sped up.

“I don’t think he will go past signing day anymore. He and his parents are ready to get everything over with. I know his mom and dad are getting pretty worn out by this process. I am sure that Drew it too. It has been a long process. He just wants to go on these visits and see what theses schools have to offer him," said Richmond's assistant coach, Glenn Rogers. “I think he is going to try to hit both schools. He is going to hit Tennessee one day and then Alabama the next and then come home. That is what he was talking about last week and right now I think that is going to be the plan. I think that is what he wants to do. I think it would be Tennessee first and then Alabama on Saturday, but it has not been etched in stone yet.”

Richmond was in Oxford over the weekend as the Rebels' staff attempts to nail down their prize lineman commit.

“He had a good time with some of his ex-teammates and also Laremy Tunsil, he was with him a lot and talked to him a lot and I think that the staff did a good job this weekend with the recruits and their families," said Rogers. "I think that he knows how Ole Miss feels. Ole Miss has done a good job of letting him know how important he is to them. His family knows the Ole Miss staff better than anybody. Their staff has been around probably more than the other staffs. I think his mom and dad are comfortable with the staff and the environment down there. He is still committed to Ole Miss and he is going to see how this next weekend goes and go from there.”

Have lived in Nashville for years but lived in Memphis for a long time prior to that. I love Memphis but love Nashville as well.

The Callahan and coach quotes aren't lining up. Smells like there's some heavy Ole Mi$$ influence going on from his coach.
