Doesn't alter my life at all. I personally do not care what anybody on here thinks. I just found the reaction ridiculous. Lastly, I don't know you and you don't know me, so an intervention from you would be pointless and is definitely not necessary.

Eazy who is usually reasonable was flipping out. However, he did admit to drinking a bunch at the time. Could be related.

Maybe the longer we go the better chance we wind up with someone better. I have no problem with us consulting with DeBord on who to hire.

Central Michigan: Detroit Lions special teams coordinator John Bonamego has interviewed for the head coaching job, according to Hondo Carpenter. Bonamego is a 16 year veteran of the NFL coaching ranks, and played his college ball at CMU

from what i've gathered, bajakian leaving seems like a mutual parting of ways. probably why butch jones had a guy in mind so soon after. maybe he's being convinced to interview a few more since hes supposedly been getting a lot of calls about the job.

Lol, yeah I was pretty lit last night. I'm back to normal today but Im still not a fan of the hire. I just think that with all the talented pieces that's on offense, we could definitely do better.

With Dubords background and experience, he could pitch in with several positions that way. Azzani will still take care of receivers I guess, I was a little fuzzy on that."

This makes much more sense than DuBords as OC given his recent history and lack of QB development. Hope it happens.

I really do think CBJ wants to talk to other people. This close to signing day, if DeBord was definitely his guy then why would he not go ahead and lock him up? It's not like there is any competiton to signing him. It seems like in the past that the first guy we always hear about in these coaching searches is never the one we get.

Look, I know that whoever CBJ brings in will run Butch's offense so that's not my issue. I would like to see a more creative mind that could add a few wrinkles to the offense and I just don't believe Debord is that guy.

My biggest gripe with Bajakian was easily his playcalling. Sometimes, it would be very good and he could get the defense reeling. Too often though, we would have very bizarre series where plays seemed to be called with no rhyme or reason. My other gripe with him was lack of aggressiveness at attacking down field but you can't completely blame Jake for that due to the OL.

Everything I've read from Michigan and CMU people about Debord is that his offense is very stale, boring and predictable. Then you consider that 95% of his resume was working with pro style offenses and I'm just left scratching my head.

If he pans out and proves me wrong, I'll eat all the crow you guys throw at me and come back for seconds. :hi:

This seems like something that could be very good. I might be able to put away the pile of mattresses & lighter fluid now..........
