Official Global Warming thread (merged)

Wow, there's 280 pages in this thread? The interglacial period will have ended by the time I get through them all.

Edit: Ooooh, I get to start 281.

There was also an interglacial period the last time someone only had their view set to 15 posts per page.

Makes me feel like i am accomplishing something getting to change pages every 2 seconds. feels nice. like reading an alex cross 'novel'.

My wedding was held during the last one. Was difficult on us because her family was adamantly opposed to interglacial marriage.

U.N. asks countries for climate plans after record warm 2014

(Reuters) - The United Nations asked governments on Thursday to submit plans to cut greenhouse gas emissions as the building blocks of a deal due in Paris in December to limit global warming, after scientists said 2014 was the hottest year on record.

Governments have agreed an informal deadline of March 31 to submit plans as the basis of the U.N. deal to slow climate change, which nearly all climate scientists say is mainly due to rising emissions of man-made greenhouse gases.

"Bridgeport, CT Mayor Bill Finch (D) thanked MSNBC anchor Al Sharpton for “fighting the good fight on climate change” during a report on Winter Storm Juno on Monday’s “PoliticsNation.”

After urging residents to stay off the roads and reporting that emergency workers were ensuring that the elderly and homeless population were taking care of, Finch told Sharpton “thank you for your show, Reverend, you’ve been fighting the good fight on climate change, and we can see the crazy climate here, and we’d like to have a little bit more of you down in Washington.”

Wait a second, "crazy cimate" as in having a snow storm during winter you fkng jacktard? You live in the North. WTF are you even talking about?

What's funny is last night the liberals were all like "global warming causes these huge storms". Then this morning they were saying "global warming weakens these storms". Now that it's still snowing they are back to the "global warming is causing these storm to be more severe"

Lol. Which is it guys?
