Coach Azzanni is proabably the most likely choice + he knows the current system inside out.

I think he is a great person as well, a player's kind of coach.

I am 100% behind this decision. The last thing this program needs is another staff-related bump in the road. Azzanni is qualified and provides for the smoothest transition.

coach z to OC and manning to QB coach BOOK IT!!

All this Manning stuff is hilarious and I assume you're joking. It's going to be difficult for him to coach when he's still playing QB in the NFL. Even after he retires, it's wishful thinking that he'll coach. He's worth over $ 200 million dollars. Unless he's just incredibly bored with life I can't imagine him doing anything immediately after retirement except focusing on his kids for a while. He might go into broadcasting. He does have that communications major. But he has a PHD in football and if he ever does coach, he'll go straight to coordinator at least, if not head coach at a major college program or the NFL.

Coach Z is probably legit to be promoted to OC however.

A little birdie told me that both Glenn Warner and Dave Nelson are throwing their hats in the ring for the OC job. Me personally, I like Glenn Warner since he is basically the father of the read option offense.

Heck, I'll take the job.

now is there a difference between the Read Option and the Triple Option and the Spread?

How often would y'all like for me to call the Jet Sweep?

"If elected, I promise to take advice from VN!"

p.s. I will only recruit Fast Twitch guys.

This sounds good and all but I doubt VN wants to ever see the Orange dog again...

Most likely Coach Z imo, but Calvin Magee is interesting. Never coached in the SEC, but has ties to LA(from NOLA) and FL(played for the Bucs). Big drawback is he's not a QB coach. He coaches RBs. Also, seems extremely loyal to RichRod, so probably isn't going anywhere.

If Coach Z gets promoted, then someone else will get the RC title. I'm sure many will want Thig, but I'm not sure he's ready to be RC. jmo

Bajakian seemed extremely loyal to Butch.

Ready as in capable? You serious?

Thig is an excellent recruiter. My concerns come from him being tied to questionable recruiting tactics in the past. Now, I think all RCs probably dabble in that, but not leaving a trail is important.
