Great, great win. Letting 18 dwindle to 5 wasn't good, but they responded from there. That exact effort will beat every team remaining on the schedule, save one.

for me, the biggest positive today and against X was the quasi re-emergence of Ramar. he gets it rolling and we play some D, look out.

They'll have to go 14-2 in the SEC to be in the running for a #1 seed. The weakness of the league will hurt UT in tha regard.

Yeah memphis is going to be a tough game should be good though. If your a basketball fan you won't want to miss that one. Great win today.

So you just think Memphis is that much better than we are? If we play like we did today in the middle of the 2nd half we can hang with Memphis.

Yup. Other than Ole Miss and Vandy being two of the biggest surprises in the country, the SEC has been very disappointing so far.

our only real route to 1 seed is dominate conference play, beat Memphis and win SEC tourney.

Great win. I watched the game at a local sports bar here in Cincinnati (while we visit the in-laws). Ryan Childress' family was there watching the game as well. I had a moment to speak with them and discuss the Xavier game a bit, which we got to go to. Excellent cross-country win. The Memphis game begins to loom bigger and bigger.

I think if Tennessee plays five minutes at any point in the game against Memphis as poorly as the 5 that let the lead slide from 18 to 5, they have no chance in the FedEx Forum.

I don't really wanna count on that, though. And yeah we'd have to beat Memphis for sure and be almsot dominant to get a 1 seed. 2 isn't out of the question, but a lot of things can happen between now and then. I think we can beat Memphis, but the shot selection has to get better.

Lapses on defense and bad shot selection will spell doom in the fedex forum. But we have a puncher's chance or should i say shooters:)

I am sure we will stumble along the way in the SEC but in the case that Memphis was our only other loss, we would easily be a number 1 seed

I think the Memphis game will probably be a battle for a number 1 seed. Loser gets the 2 seed. As long as wew take care of business in the SEC
