The NFL just lost a fan today

Kinda like the way the Lions did last week on the no call face guarding/pass interference. Guess it all evens out.

Agree with this to. Sucks the highest level of American football has the lowest level of officiating lol

Caught it. Took three steps. Lunged for the goal line. Reached the ball to the goal line. Ground then "caused a fumble" which he caught out of mid air by the way.

"Football Move" is one of the worst examples of the continuing evolution of micro management of the game played on the field. I watch far less NFL than I used to. The stoppage for penalties and reviews simply bores me more than the anticipation of the next play excites me.

Take a big O swig of butt hurt, Cowboys. You shouldn't have even BEEN IN THIS GAME to begin with. Strange how that bad ol Karma works.

Good game though!

Apparently you dislike Green bay more.

Falcons fan here. Hate Jerry Jones and the boys and was pulling for the Pack. I thought that was a horrible call. GB could still come back and win if Dallas gets a TD there. But, I do feel like he made a football move which included at least two if not three steps. Also, the ground can't cause a fumble but can cause an incomplete pass is stupid when the guy has it in his hand and his elbow hits the ground while he is holding the ball and reaching out toward the goal line. He had way more control than Pig did against Georgia. To REVERSE the call on the field it has to be way more clear than that. I will still watch the NFL but replay has killed the game. Good in theory but it has made it a mess. It should only be used to determine if feet down or out of bounds and fumbles and catches.

After further review, this post stands.

I love Alcoa Randall Cobb and rooting for Green Bay, but that was a bad call. Must be Karma.

Cowboys fans are the equivalent of bama fans. By far the most redneck, uneducated, bandwagon fans in the nfl

This has nothing to do with the Cowboys or their fans imo. It's about the leaders of a league absolutely ruining the greatest and most popular sport in the country with their absolutely ridiculous nonsense rules. I watch the NFL to see great players make great plays. Dez Bryant made a great play...just like Calvin Johnson made a great play a few years ago....just like the Raiders made a great play several years ago when Tom Brady fumbled and the officials applied another dumbass rule that no one had ever heard of that made ABSOLUTELY ZERO SENSE.

Loved the call, could not have happened to a better guy or team. Dallas should not have even been in this game after those BS calls last weekend. Now we have to listen to the Cowgirls cry about it for the next week....

You are just mad because of the beating you took yesterday.

Right or wrong call, a few things in life are enjoyable. Watching bama get beat and watching Dallas get beat rank right up there. Suck it cow"boys".

He caught it and took 3 steps falling to the ground! They have a rule that says the ground can't cause a fumble, but it can cause an incompletion after a guy takes 3 steps? WTF!

The rules allow for this. It is a crappy rule, but the correct call was made. I am a Cowboys fan and I still agree that the rule was interpreted correctly. It sucks to potentially lose a game with that call, but the rule is the rule.

Just another step in the evolution of the NFL to total two hand touch league. I think it'll be closer to Arena Footballl than the NFL we once knew when all is said and done.

Bs! He caught the damn ball, took 2 steps while going to the ground and reaching for the goal line. Did you also like/agree with the stupidity that started all this a few years ago when Calvin Johnson made a great game-winning catch but because they applied this horribly stupid rule they overturned it? Btw, I couldn't give 2 craps who wins this game. I'm a Broncos fan.

He did not catch the ball. It's simple, read the rule. You may not like the rule, but it was called correctly

You need to get your glasses thickened gramps.

He took no steps, that's 0 steps, zero.

He jumped in the air and fell down, sorry for your blindness...

Yeah. He fell but took three steps on the way down. 3 stumbles and a lunge? Maybe he fell on his feet three times?

Did anyone actually see the ball touch the ground? If not then it should have been a catch when he re secured it in the end zone.

I disagree....
1. He did catch it in the process of making a football move as he took 2 steps and reached for the goal line

2. Rule absolutely sucks and should've been amended years ago with the uproar that ensued after Calvin Johnson was similarly screwed from being rightfully given his game-winning catch.

This rule, among several others, is absolutely ruining the NFL game.
