The NFL just lost a fan today

You use today as an example of refs being corrupt.... Seriously? How about last week against Detroit where is was exponentially more obvious.

I don't care either way, but I agree with this. If it wasn't for Dallas being the benefit of one of the dumbest actions of refs I've ever seen, they probably wouldn't be here today.

I can't stand the Cowboys, but there is no way in hell they should take that catch away from Dez Bryant. That was absolutely pathetic by the refs. Screw Goodell and his clowns.

I don't disagree with you, but I promise that the league's response to this is

"Sorry, can't hear you over all this money."

I think officials in the NFL and the Owners(at least some) bet on the games and pressure the zebras to make calls to help them out.

Thought the call was fine. Ground knocked the ball loose and he didn't maintain control. That's it. It's the rule. Nobody got screwed.

Like the announcer said "he didn't make a football move". Falling forward is not a football move. I do not like the rule, but I think the correct call was made. He lost control of the ball.

Bs! He caught the damn ball, took 2 steps while going to the ground and reaching for the goal line. Did you also like/agree with the stupidity that started all this a few years ago when Calvin Johnson made a great game-winning catch but because they applied this horribly stupid rule they overturned it? Btw, I couldn't give 2 craps who wins this game. I'm a Broncos fan.

I think the refs made the "right" call based on the rules but that really is a terrible rule. If you catch the ball and extend to the goal line you obviously had control. CHANGE THE RULE NFL. This happens several times each year and no one really understands why this rule is still written this way...

It's a "fixer" rule, so someone's (whomever 'they' are) preferred team can advance/win. Disgusting. Can't just let em play. I really don't care who wins this game, but wow. Blatant change in the course of game by refs interference. I've always thought that's it's not enough to just play well enough to beat your opponent... You have to play well enough to beat the officials, too. Just wow.

He secured the ball with both hands and then switched to his left hand to extend to the goal line. The ground cant cause a fumble that should be a catch 100%

Dallas got screwed by the Packer zebras

Yes sir, I looked for an email for goodell, to let him know I'm done with his bizzaro football league. I know he doesn't care, but now I don't either. Packers holding all day to keep that pansy Rodgers safe and then you reverse a catch.

Also, I don't think that this is what these forums are for. I don't care that the NFL lost a fan today. Just quietly turn your television off and move on. Why is it necessary to tell everyone about it on a University of Tennessee message board?
