Jones committed during his in home visit but has put off the announcement until after the 7th. Adding Jones, Allen, and Newsome will push this class into top 3 status.

I know it probably won't happen, but I wish they would use JJ in a wildcat type package this year in short yardage situations. Don't put too much on his plate, but he would have the ability to run or pass. Even if he doesn't get the job fulltime in the future, he will know that he has a role at the position, and I think he would be dynamic in certain situations.

ESPN lists Phillips as a DT, which is probably why he's as low as he is. Lol.

Don't put too much on his plate, but he would have the ability to run or pass. Even if he doesn't get the job fulltime in the future, he will know that he has a role at the position, and I think he would be dynamic in certain situations.

Actually, I think Tuttle was only a 5* on 247, but was recently bumped down to a 4*. They're all 5*s in my book tho.

Dual-threat quarterback Sheriron Jones (Moreno Valley, Calif./Rancho Verde) committed to Tennessee.

The former Florida commit has been leaning towards selecting the Volunteers since de-committing from Florida December 6.

He just got off the phone with Tennessee coach Butch Jones and verbally committed, according to Rancho Verde coach Pete Duffy.

"I've been (to Tennessee) and love the pace and environment," Jones said. "The coaches are great and it's a great school. They care about their players."

The four-star recruit is ranked as the nation's No. 7 dual-threat quarterback and the No. 26 prospect in California in the 2015 class by 247Sports.com Composite Rankings.

My thoughts exactly.... Could be something he likes while playing safety too. However I hope he makes it at QB.
