Allen is waiting to see who UGA hires.
Their leading candidate is Roper.
As UF's OC the Gators ranked 96th in total offense.
His record at Duke was better . . . because his HC was Cutcliffe, who was UT's OC and coached both of the Manning brothers.
I don't think Roper should get too much credit for Duke's results.
Hitching on to Roper's little red wagon is a bad idea. It only goes downhill.

Not meaning to sound flurryous (thanks sam) but it doesn't make much sense to say he's waiting to see who UGA gets for a coach then have to wait until NSD to make up his mind. That's going to put someone out at the last minute at some school because no one's going to hold a spot open for him. I'm sure that when the dead period ends he's going to hear a lot of that from coaches.
