I think we are basically on the same page then. I would never be for eliminating all assitance, but yes I do believe too many people receive it.

Aren't we preventing evolution by allowing those who can't care for themselves to survive and eventually procreate? Isn't it the natural order of things for the week to die off and the strong to survive?

Fraud of federal welfare, fraud of stimulus money, fraud of social security, fraud of state welfare programs, fraud of medicare and medicaid, fraud of Obolocare - just how are you going to prosecute all these people and where are you going to lock them up?

Welfare cash can be withdrawn with EBT cards which can be spent on just about anything.

Welfare recipients take out cash at strip clubs, liquor stores and X-rated shops | New York Post

We also slow our own evolution through war by killing off young healthy makes, many of which die before they ever get to reproduce.

Once we stop arresting and prosecuting people for drug charges, it won't be a problem.

I didn't realize it was a serious one. Yes it slows down our evolution. So does modern medicine. But no one is advocating that doctors stop savings babies.

Maybe we should? It would save us a lot of money, I thought you were all for cutting out corporate welfare? Who do you think subsidizes most of the medical research which corporations profit from?

I agree with some subsidies, but not all. I don't think private companies would have won the race to the moon for example. So yes, I have no problem with government investments into medical research.

How about when the government subsidizes the electric company or water company (not all are government entities) to run lines to rural areas so you have water and power?
