I believe that was Brassmanbruno who said that.

Fairly sure I wasn't alone on this one.

But I really don't give much credit to people who predicted that he would contribute quite a bit. That's the easy way out since most of us here are biased to a certain degree and it's really easy to have high expectations for players - especially ones as highly rated as JP Prince out of high school. See Kenny O'neal situation or Vinson (as a WR). It just so happened that JP didn't turn out to be as bad as he was in AZ.

All the credit goes to JP.. not anyone on here that had a 50/50 chance at getting it right, basically.

I guess I should have specified. I didn't wanna know your opinion of him as a PG, but as a player/contributor. Even as bad as our PG play is right now, I don't think he would help at all there. He is playing where he needs to play.
He's going to be better than the vast majority of guys he matches up with, as long as he's coming off the bench. I can't think of many teams with a better backup 3. That gives him an advantage, which in turn helps UT.

What do you think of him playing some kind of point-forward like Dane did last year? With a little less ball handing than Dane.
It depends on how good an on ball defender the opposing 3 is. It will likely work against most teams on the schedule. However, I don't want any part of him handling the ball against guys like CDR, Anderson, or Doneal Mack.

I'm very proud of you.

Find where I called him an "insignificant player."

I saw nothing tonight that indicates Prince is going to make a significant impact against big time competition.

Ok, you didn't actually say he was an "insignificant player". I apologize for the accusation.

You're reading the same threads, so obviously you have no more to do than I.

It's not the fact that you're on this site, its the fact that you're making it your life's work to vindicate JP Prince from any and all predictions that he wouldn't be very good based on his lackluster career at Zona.

You're beating the subject to death.

You're probably right.

No problem. I hope my post you quoted above turns out to be 100% wrong.

While we're on the subject, Hat also said something to the effect of him believing JP Prince would be a major contributor when he saw it. Well, sir, we're one breakout game in, what do you think now??? :horse:

i'd say withholding judgment is still the smarter route. i hope he is absolutely the man, but one game doesn't a stud make
