Never heard of that. The antibiotic I took for a sinus infection was augmentin which worked pretty well for what I had. Surely there was a better one to take for bronchitis.

Z Packs are the default nowadays...they usually do the trick.

Anybody else hear that Hendrix may be having second thoughts and is considering coming back for spring semester? This was posted on another board, I have no idea if it has any legs. Just throwing it out there to see if anyone else has heard such chatter......

I sure wish he would come back. I realize that practice has been a lot more challenging and tough as the coaches rebuild the culture surrounding Vol football. A lot of the "negative/ downer" influences are moving on, and we should see the growth really begin to take effect. There's a lot of positive energy surrounding the team now. Sad you will not be going to the bowl with the team.

Was anyone else depressed to see Clay Travis picked us to cover the spread against Iowa? I know I was. I'm not sure he's correctly picked Tennessee once this season (maybe against Kentucky).

What I said and what you said aren't mutually exclusive. In fact, I think there are so many factors that go into an individual players development, that you can't assume a kid couldn't have done better elsewhere.

Sometimes it takes three years for the light to go on. Without being close to the individual player, it's really hard to say.

I wasn't implying that they were, only noting that a Freshman's productivity is usually a building block upon which to grow, rather than a prove it or lose it-type year.

Especially DB's, which is one of the hardest positions to adjust to and learn.

So I don't really like to be one to bring the good vibes down. But I know this is a strong community of good folks and prayers can be strong business.

But I lost my cousin yesterday who also happened to be one of my closest friends in the world. He died of a heroin overdose. He was 30 years old, a wonderful musician and he loved the Arkansas Razorbacks. He was a good friend to me for many years and I will miss him greatly. Drugs are serious stuff, please don't let them ruin your life too. Any prayers would be greatly appreciated. I'm having a hard time being joyful this Christmas. Thanks.

That's awful. I've seen drugs ruin more than a couple lives. You and the rest of the family will be in my thoughts.
