Obama admin has done a good job managing the economic crisis of Bush

You of course are conveniently ignoring the fact that it takes time for the effects of a recovery to reach those specific points. The growth rate = incentive to seek employment, increases tax revenues, and lowers participation in social programs. Takes time but now we are moving in the right direction.

If you believe your own rhetoric, which I doubt, why has Obama not been able to reach those "specific points" in 6 years and Reagan did it in 2?

The only thing moving in the right direction are the gas prices, no thanks to President Algae. Much thanks to the house of Saud though.

I read some papers from a couple of economist the other day actually.

They stated for a fact that the U.S. is in a welfare state right now..(duh).

They also stated that if something doesn't happen soon, that our economy will collapse.

I can't remember the numbers but it reflects that of the Great Depression.

A lot of folks worry about a "police state"
That's comes after the collapse.

You give Obama much to much credit.

Reagan was a leader and statesman, Obama is the exact opposite if there is word for that.

I watched a documentary on him the other night. Good and bad on him. I learned a lot.

Hell of a man.

I am not giving Obama any credit. Reagan was smart enough to work with the other side.

I guess the 2 years where the Democrats ran both houses and the presidency do not count? Asinine statement.

Asinine my azz
The last 4 years has been the only Administration dating back to JFK ( that is as far back as I can remember) that did not have a working relationship with Congress.

Clinton was impeached, yet during the impeachment hearings he had a better relationship with Congress that O has.

4 years out of 6. Your comment was that Reagan had something Obama doesn't. So far 33% of O presidency his party controlled the white house, Congress and Senate. Reagan never had that.

Asinine.

And when O had both houses we got Obamacare! We all should be thankful he only had 2 years.

Gramps,
You strike me as someone who had high hopes for obama. (I believe you voted for him). He let you down, and you need (feel)that you need to bash bush too (so your conscious) I think you feel buyers remorse for both.

I've never seen you outright bash obama, with out taking a stab at bush too. You subconsciously have intertwined them.

I agree 100%. Funny how LG says that certain economic points require time. Reagan did in 2 what O hasn't done in 6. And our resident septagenarian thinks it is because reagan a working relationship. I don't know how more of a relationship a prez can have with Congress when he runs both houses. Lol.

And really there wasn't such bitter hated during that time either.

Dems had controlled the houses for approximately 30 years. They felt it was their birthright. The real animus came when newt rescinded that birthright.

I did not vote for O, if i did i would tell you so. I did have hopes or at least willing to give him a chance as I have every president I can recall.

I do bash W Bush. IMO, he has done more harm to this country and the office of the president than anyone in my lifetime. I do think history will look worse on W Bush than it does Obama.

I go back and I do think many of our problems today are Bush's fault. He left a cesspool when he left office. On 1/20/09 our nation was in worse shape than I have ever saw it. It will take decades to correct the mess Bush/Cheney left us with.

Obama is by far the least respected President of my lifetime. Nixon had more respect than O ever had during his presidency.

Very true. Back then the opposing sides would argue their policies on the floor then go out and have dinner and drinks. That never happens these days.

And the historians nowadays are mostly university liberal professors who pretty much worship Barry and the Democrats.

Third quarter growth a startling 5 % due to consumer spending. Oil below $55 a barrel, gas prices plummeting and expected to fuel even more consumer spending, employment building even more momentum.

Economy Grows Most Since

So many people have been complaining on here for so long that we were headed for calamity and that Obama policies were to blame. Well, we avoided absolute disastrous collapse caused by deregulation of the financial industry and the wars in the ME that were so misdirected. Those same policies you complained about for the past 6 years have gotten us out of the economic mess.

Time you 'fess up that you were wrong.

Oil price has nothing to do with Barry. However, the $400,000,000 a day injection into the pockets of those that need it is a hell of a stimulus. Sadly for you, still nothing to do with Barry..... In fact, one might say in spite of him.
