Swain talked about Feaster this morning on his show. He had LOTS of good things to say (speed, speed, and more speed). He encouraged people to tweet the kid and show support for the Vols. As we know, that's a dual-edged sword.

According to Ryan Callahan, he had 225 yards and 3 TDs on Saturday.

@RivalsWoody: ICYMI Video: 2016 #Rivals100 RB Tavien Feaster talks Clemson, Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee http://t.co/LiBVtIQUoC http://t.co/AVFveyobOJ

Can anyone update us?

Not too much new. Broke down the 4 schools and had good things to say about all of them. Talked about Jalen Hurds year and butch being willing to play freshmen. Plans to go to a lot of junior days in the spring to see as much as he can. No timeline on decision just whenever it feels right.

If we take another RB this year it's going to be hard to get this kid on board with all the other RB's on roster

What all other RBs? We literally return one scholarship RB from last year. If we were to even take another this year, that is only five total, assuming all stick.

Or coaches can point to teams like Bama and let them know that it's takes several quality running backs to win big in this league? It'll work itself out IMO.

Guess it will be interesting to see how we end up at RB this February.

Hurd Kamara Abernathy Berry

Bussey, Reid, Love, Vaughn, Paulk (reinstated?), Kelly, Bruce/Perry

I think Berry slides back to defense after the the bowl game. I think he's there out of necessity more than anything right now.

Seems to be a wideopen race. Hope we get him or someone from another conference because playing him in the SEC would be very annoying.

Also seems like this is our dream RB and we have some back up plan runningbacks.

This is my favorite back in 2016. Hopefully Hurd and Kamara ball out next year and show him why he should be a Vol.

I don't think this is as wide open as it might seem. Make no mistake, Clemson has a sizeable lead at this point in his recruitment.

We've been recruiting him extremely hard for 2+ years, and from all reports Clemson is in great standing here. We're also not taking a 2015 RB, which obviously won't hurt b/c he is intrigued by early playing time.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him commit on NSD, which has been a trend for Clemson with their top long-term recruits.....Deshaun 2 years ago and Mitch Hyatt last year.

We'll see. Even if he were to commit early, nobody is going to back off this stud and there will still be a long way to go.

Sounds a lot like Darrel Scott, you should ask your big brother what happened with him when Butch took over

Based on a TRUE story....BRAH. :matrix:

Wow, the Ole Ball Sack fell asleep at the wheel (again) and you guys were the lucky recipients. Congrats, hell of an accomplishment. Why exactly are you boasting about that in a Feaster thread, again?

He's a guy that we're recruiting...you're not part of the package deal.
