For the alternate uniform, they can do whatever. It's just one game. I want traditional the other games.

My thoughts too. I like everything except the gray outlines. Save gray for alternate day. It's like they are trying to ease it into our primary color scheme which should always be Orange and White.

Overall, I think the uniform concepts are pretty nice. I would prefer no number outline on the home unis though.

By the way, I know I don't post very much (although I post a good bit more now than I did my first 3-4 years lurking on here!), but until next Monday I probably won't be able to get on here much. I'd just like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas. I hope everyone is safe, healthy and happy this holiday season. :hi:

Meh. Not for me. I think 'experts' lay too much of a team's Super Bowl success (or failure) at the feet of quarterbacks. They're a vital cog in the football machine --- but they're just a cog. Several factors weigh into a SB run: defense, special teams, QB play ... and luck. Eli Freaking Manning won two Super Bowls. Only a mindless sheep would think Eli is better than Peyton.

Go compare Peyton's numbers to any quarterback in NFL history. Ever. He kicks their asses in every meaningful statistical category.

He IS the greatest QB to play the game.

I love our tradition but at one point during the Dickey era I'm sure some old fart complained about the band forming a T on the field.


Nothing wrong with new traditions.

I don't mind new. New or old, no thank you on an orange face mask. If they brought out greys, a grey helmet could work.

There will be some complain about any changes.

Kids like flashy uniforms. Jr has an Oregon shirt ONLY for their uniforms.

Yeah. I'm 27 so I was fairly young when Oregon started up their new uniforms. I Might be in the minority for my age group but that stuff is gaudy.

As long as we're winning it doesn't really matter to me what they're wearing. I just prefer a more simplistic look.

Those in the picture were clean looking. They weren't too far off the deep end (like Oregon).

I agree 100% with the winning.
