The quotes surely seem like LSU and I think I'm more entitled to believe those than some random poster on VQ. Just the whole tone of when he speaks of LSU gives you a different feel from his quotes about the other schools, seems more genuine. I still think we have a great class as far as DEs but not getting him or Walker would hurt.

Not gonna lie, when I read Ugo's quotes about "thinking outside the box," that stuck with me and I immediately thought the two may end up at LSU. I hope it wasn't correct.

If we lose out on Phillips and add another LT like Allen I would take that trade. I know they're not dependent on each other but space is getting tight.

I think it is LSU and that is the only reason ugo is insisting on taking a visit to LSU after classes start in January.

It is the only thing that makes sense.

Otherwise of Phillips chose UT on the 3rd then why does ugo need a visit to LSU.

It depends on the day someone talks to him but I also think he could be playing the recruiting game to keep people in their toes leading up to announcement. I lean toward at the end of the day it's hard for him to be that far from his family so he chooses TN.

Well Butch is leading guys off the plank to make room for somebody. Don't know who they are but it's obvious he has a plan. Trust Butch!

I said the same thing when I read those quotes from Ugo insisting that he would take the LSU visit before announcing his decision. The other thought is that they want to shock the world and act like it's going to be LSU all the way up to the announcement, then pick the Vols.

This is the other thought I had...I don't see Butch letting Jackson go (who plays the same position as Phillips) without knowing almost 100% that Phillips is a Vol.

I haven't heard anything from anybody. My gut is telling me nothing (other than I should NOT have eaten that second sausage, egg and cheese burrito this morning). I can't read tea leaves. I have too many posts to be a first-time insider. I don't take leaps in logic after reading a tweet or two. She didn't say anything. The one thing that I am certain of is that it is most definitely the silly season and we will know for sure almost definitely, at least, in February. I do hope he signs with Tennessee.
