In what? What course would be going on right now for him to enroll in?

I know NCAA rules never make a lot of sense, but this one is extremely confusing.

When players arrive in July or August for fall camp they aren't taking any classes at that point in time, but they are enrolled at the school. They begin practices with the team and start classes at the end of August when the fall semester begins. There are always winter session courses as well, but I would imagine that he is most likely enrolled for courses next semester.

Every university offers winter courses, just like summer courses

He's enrolled for spring term(which means accepted for spring term and registered for classes) and has been cleared by the NCAA clearinghouse. Being enrolled doesn't mean that you have to be taking a class over Christmas break. It's just like the guys who come in at the end of summer. They are enrolled for fall term and come in before school starts and begin practicing.

But those guys have already signed. He has not.

So you're telling me EEs never signs LOI? What binds them to our school?

IIRC once you receive benefits such as housing, attend a class, etc as part of the scholarship, you are bound. I don't think the other paperwork binds you. I remember this from the Kiffin disaster when he left and Orgeron told some kids not to go to class if they wanted to go somewhere else to college. Hamilton at the time talked to the EE and told them they were bound because they had stayed in university housing.

I still don't get it...pro style in a spread style. I've seen film of Dormady and Jennings. To me Jennings fits the
O-scheme we run now better. Is Butch planning to run a two QB system? :whistling:

GO VOLS!

Sometime you look for players to fit the system. And sometimes if the player is that good, you tweek the system to fit the player. If the line improves, I believe the system can work with which ever player gives us the best chance of winning. Opinions derived from playing Xbox do not count.

Yep...receiving benefits on campus is what officially locks them in and binds them to the university. EEs never sign a LOI.

Wow! Awesome! Class of 94 here. You probably know my mom, if you went there K-12. She taught 2nd grade when she first began teaching and moved to 6th grade for most of her career...Pat R. Ring a bell?

I would probably know her if I saw her. I only went to High School there though. My brother Luther G. might have been your Little League coach though.

Oh my! Didn't he used to bass fish a lot? Fished in the Huntland club? If so, my dad and I fished with him in that club. My dad is Tommy.
