The good news with being a negavol is, I'm rarely surprised by bad news. Helm played in all 12 games and has potential. I don't know why he would be unhappy here but whatever!

Wow. Kid must be homesick or not like the way Butch coaches him, because it surely can't be a playing time thing. If he leaves, then we definitely need a TE in this class.

Doubtful. Helm say snaps but he appears to be a "energy vampire" along with Scott and Hendrix.

He got ill when Ethan came back from injury and got the starting job back. Tifwiw.

Helm may have played in every game, but he never got the ball. I felt like Jake put him in a weird role. He was never an in-line tight end in high school. When we split him out as a slot receiver he literally never had the ball thrown his way.

He definitely has talent. But I couldn't blame him too much if he didn't like Jake.

The VQ member who posted the information knows his stuff.

I'm not saying I definitely believe Helm will leave the UT program, but this isn't just a basic Internet rumor. This information has validity to it and is out there.

Hopefully Helm will continue to practice & remain on UT's team.

A lot of these rumors are being started and stirred up by students or people who have a connection to other people on the team.

And while that may be a good source as they can visibly see who is around and participating, they truly don't know what is going on behind the scenes with the Coaches and that Player.

For all we know these guys may be struggling in class and the coaches told them to take a break from the team and focus on their finals. Or maybe they are disgruntled but the coaches know they are bluffing.

I'd be surprised if most of them aren't back for spring football at least.

One more semester at school when you aren't in season mode will calm this angry feeling down.

The 1 I worry about the most staying upset is Scott as Kamara is coming in early and will likely be ahead of him day 1 and I doubt he likes that much.

While you guys meltdown, I'm going to be getting hyped for our first winning season in awhile. GBO!!!!!!!!!

I understand we need quality depth at all positions, but if Helm bolts it doesn't bother me much at all. Wolf is a stud and I thought Ellis played very well toward the end of the season. Best of luck to him if he leaves, but I'm not going to lose sleep over it.
