Hey guys! I just had to skip about 50 pages because I couldn't keep up. But I did clearly see Volatil go all LebVol on the Butch raise issue. Man, I had to keep checking your sideways avi to make sure it was you. I even saw a post where you stated, "let's do the math." Leb has contaminated you.

:)

I clearly stated that he deserved a raise, just not 4 million/per.

He got a little more than I expected. People in here ready to give him Saban money for a losing record had my blood pressure up.

He will get the big bucks when he gets us to the SECCG.

Again, glad he got about what he should. He had to get more than Stoops at Ky.

Just a question. I wonder if the NCAA had been investigating Sou. Miss and were aware of what was going on but hadn't found a connection to CDT but did know that someone on his staff and people in admissions and administration were involved. That would be a reason to tell Hart that they knew nothing on CDT. In this type situation they would have needed to question Tyndall about what he may have known (if anything) about the issues at Sou. Miss.

That certainly could be a possibility; however, if that is the case, they should have told Hart that they were looking into Southern Mississippi for some possible violations. And maybe they did. We never know the whole story.

Cut deff has a lifetime contract with Duke if he wants it. That's a nice position to be in and I can see turning down Michigan for it.

Bored, so I'm gonna post some hilarious Iowa message board posts. I'll start it off with this dandy.

Re: Gator Bowl Predictions: Tennessee vs Iowa Reply

"Tied at 17 in the 4th, Dobbs breaks off a 31 yrd run on 4th and 30, doing the moonwalk for the final 15, as Alston is still unable to catch up with him. The Vols kick a game winning field goal, at which point Kirk tosses his gum in disgust and curses the ebbs and flow of the game. Smokey takes a dump in the endzone and Greg Davis slips in it to provide some comic relief for the fans."

Edit: Can't believe I used the wrong form of "Bored." Need more coffee.

They're really down on their team right now. Something's brewing in Iowa.

Bama fan. Of course.

"I live in Tennessee, and unequivocally Vol fans are some of the worst in the country. They have an extraordinarily high sense of themselves and they always think that "this is going to be the year." If they are excited about this bowl game its because it's the first one they've been to since 2010 (they haven't won one since 2007). I hope Iowa pounds them just for the sheer joy it will bring me to not only watch Iowa win but to watch TN fans grapple with getting beat by "Iowa who?" I also promise you that all of my family who are big Bama fans will be cheering on the Hawkeyes.

Despite what TN fans may say, they have not looked all that impressive this year (and I've watch most of their games). In their last two games they lost to a Missouri team they were favored against and struggled against Vandy, not to mention their collapse against Florida earlier in the season. Their best games have been the loss to Georgia and about 2 1/2 quarters of their loss to Bama.

Their only real offensive weapon is Dobbs as a mobile QB. Their O-line is young and very so-so and they've had trouble running the ball (beyond QB scrambles) with their passing game being hit or miss. The TN defense is actually pretty decent though, and I look for this to be a defensive struggle.

I don't care what your feelings are about the Iowa program right now but you should be rooting for the Hawkeyes to pound this god-forsaken SEC team."

Congrats Face! Now go start your own firm and give me a job. :)

You serious? I know a guy in Greensboro and we're always looking for experienced hires.

Man congrats. My wife just started her CPA journey taking the tax side first. She missed it by one point. I have heard the tax one was the hardest. What's your take on it?

Well, she didn't do much worse than me. I made a 75 on that section. Barely passed. Audit and BEC were easier (to me) because the volume of information was smaller and more digestible. Financial and REG were the hardest and my lowest scores. TONS of information to process. I felt like i was in a boxing match taking those exams. After taking them, I called my wife both times and said I failed. :cray:
Face congrats on the CPA exam. I actually graduated from Lee in 2013 with an accounting degree. We prob know each other

Saw where you posted your email a few pages back and realized who you are. My Lee email is jmarku00 if you want to look it up in the system. I'd put my name out there but I prefer some internet anonymity. :detective:

He has all his orange and white gear in his closet from the 90s and early 2000's. He'll be breaking it out soon.

Michigan basketball just lost Eastern Kentucky at home 45-42.

Bigger dumpster fire: Michigan athletics now or UT athletics circa Dec. 2011?

They just fired Hoke after a 5-7 season and lost back to back basketball games to NJIT and EKU, and we had just lost to UK for the first time in 26 years and had back to back losses to Austin Peay and College of Charleston.

Damn. They really are like our northern doppelganger.

This is funny right here.

"Tennessee is in for a big surprise. No amount of film can prepare you for how slow Weisman is to the edge. Ill laugh as they beat him to the edge by 2-3 seconds and give him ample time to stop, slowly pivot, cutback and reverse field for 2 yards before the entire defense again catches up with him."

This is why I don't blame him, and this is the first year that i've been actually disappointed with the Lady Vols.

First year I've been disappointed as well. Which honestly goes to show how darn spoiled we are when it comes to the LVs. I was really down on Holly after the first few games but it looks like the team is bouncing back. It wasn't a good start to the season but they have time to recover.

Also, looking around the WBB world and hearing stories from other SEC fanbases about coaches who were surefire who turned out to be nightmares on and off the court, I'm happy to roll with Holly for a while longer (at least until Tyler gets enough experience to earn the job here at home which will be a good while yet).

And I thought our fanbase was bad. Where did you find that? :birgits_giggle:

High school classmate who I still keep up with on Facebook has that same sour Bama fan living in Tennessee outlook. It's not enough that they're perennial NC players...they have an unnatural aversion to anything positive happening for us...runs counter to their god that these things run in cycles. Suggesting possible success for Tennessee is tantamount to legalizing marriage between black and white people.

Hawkeyenation.com

Could have also been their Rivals board, don't remember where that post came from.

Here is an actual good post that I think will have bearing on the game.

"We faced 4 mobile quarterbacks in conference play that rushed for over 400 yards on the year.
We went 0-4 in those games and surrendered 269 yards rushing to those quarterbacks, allowing them to rush for 5.5. yards per carry and 67 yards per game.
Tennessee has a mobile quarterback in Joshua Dobbs, and he is averaging 78.6 yards rushing this season."
