Michigan basketball just lost Eastern Kentucky at home 45-42.

Bigger dumpster fire: Michigan athletics now or UT athletics circa Dec. 2011?

They just fired Hoke after a 5-7 season and lost back to back basketball games to NJIT and EKU, and we had just lost to UK for the first time in 26 years and had back to back losses to Austin Peay and College of Charleston.

AD couldn't speak publicly out of fear of what he may say. No statement for weeks

Was told tonight #Michigan officials offered David Cutcliffe their job but the #Duke coach turned it down. Times sure have changed.

It was the most negative I've ever been as a fan. Everyone knew Dooley wasn't the guy and it looked like we had just hired Dooley 2.0 to coach basketball.

Wow. Smart move by Cutcliff. IMO Duke&Cutcliff will be like Spurrier&USC minus the rankings of course.

My buddy is a diehard Michigan fan... Keeps telling me Harbaugh will come around and accept. At least 10 different names keep getting mentioned, but it always comes back to Harbaugh. I told him cherish this time as the Gruden threads were the best ever! :lolabove: (I can say this after I feel good about CBJ)

Yep. We have some pretty decent soccer. The women won a streak of 4 straight naia nattys.

Not sure how the nccaa stuff works...but The school just moved to NCAA div II. Honestly, the baseball team might be as good as UT. Players get drafted regularly.

I'm not sure how in the world people hate Hart when they compare him to Hamilton... i don't understand that in any way. makes no sense to me.

Well San Francisco is talking about trading Harbaugh at the end of the season. He may be their guy. The longer this plays out the more likely it becomes.

Amazing. Michigan is almost an exact pattern of us. Long time coach goes out, fiery guy comes in, worse guy after him... Then dumpster fire status.

Dave Cut made it clear Duke was his last stop. He has a lower pressured job there and is doing well. Michigan may end up with a Dooley.

If they start trolling the coaching world I say Ruffin Mcneil. They could do worse. He has experience and a high octane offense.

Yeah, I did undergrad just up the road at Tennessee Wesleyan. Baseball NAIA National Champions 2012. Lots of great baseball in East Tennessee.
