Me? Most morose? I don't believe I post frequently enough on this board to have earned any superlatives. And my posts drip of sarcasm and sometimes ridicule, but they certainly don't qualify as morose.

Perhaps you are confusing me with somebody else.

my post was in reference to the thread starter.

i think in the end, this has to be a good thing for us going forward, but that completely depends on what transpires with the new coaches. this could be the best thing that has happened to TN in some time, or it could be more validation of the stagnation of this program.

in the meantime, the opportunity before us gives me hope.

Troop's interview comments were indicative of strong character, but it's hard for me to believe that he wasn't just a bit too close to his players based on the Rogers' comments.

If there was no affect on team performance that would be different. However, in this case, we now have a plausible explanation for why the best WR's were forced to watch so many dropped balls from their vanatage point on the sidelines. Jones was injured, so I understand that, but I can't help but believe we'll see D. Moore, K. O'neil, and A. Paige getting more snaps next season.

Is it okay to have a football coach named "Kippy"?
must be, he was here before.

i'd be shocked if that weren't the case anyway.

Where have you been lately, LG? You guys talking about recruiting instead of coaching changes over in Gatorland?

I've been quite busy at work. For whatever reason, seems like everyone waited to file their civil rights cases right after Thanksgiving this year.

But I've been around. Just don't have that much to add to what you folks have been chatting about.

Not that it stopped me before ... :dance2:

Who do you think we'll get as our new OC?

I have absolutely no idea, but I am enjoying reading the speculation about who the new OC will be, followed by the speculation of how he'll do, followed by the speculation of who will complain about it.

Cutcliffe is an exceptional QB coach with average play calling. Taylor is just a high energy guy that looks cool on tv, but is actually not that great when it comes down to actually getting into the x's and o's

And the truth will set you free.....
