I wasn't born at the time so it's always cool for me to see the mid 90 games

Fun game and it spring boarded us to a great 95. We were one bad half at Florida away from being undefeated.

I would say that's a dream scenario, but it's gotten to a point where I'd rather lose to anyone but them. I hope we go 11-1 but that 1 loss can be to someone else, we gotta end that streak.

The Syracuse team had future NFL Hall of Famers in Larry Csonka and Floyd Little. Tennessee was lead by probably its all time possession receiver Johnny Mills and one of its great tight ends in Austin Denny. Also had A-A center Bob Johnson and a great defense.

Linebacker Paul Naumoff(played over 10 years for the Lions) was a great player on the 1966 Vols defense

I was in my 3rd year in band at UT. Absolutely fun game to go to, even though Jacksonville's stadium was undergoing renovations. That's why you'll notice it's being played in Gainesville.

I was there. I was 12 years old. A lot of VT fans ran their mouth the night before the game. They outnumbered us 5 to 1. They didn't say anything after the game though. They had their tail tucked behind their legs and left as soon as they could. I am old now but still try to find joy in seeing the Vols in person at a bowl game.

Cool. I suppose Vol fans never let him live down that defeat. Of course they got us back in 2009 at the Chick-Fil-a Bowl though.
