I would like something that I can cruise at 160+ and haul four people in a single. One of my instructors is a huge Bonanza guy and he's also a mechanic so he's pushing those on me. I love the Cherokee but 110MPH is a little slow. Cheap plane to operate though.

Nope I don't use one. I'm guessing you fly with an iPad?

I agree on low wing vs high wing. Yeah you'll be glad when you finally upgrade. Everybody loves more speed Lol. The cirrus is definitely a step up from what I'm used to Lol.

As I sit here eating an early dinner after a doctor deposition, I can't help but smile. It feels so good knowing that we don't have to wait 8 more months for football. We get another game in just under a month. Isn't that such a nice feeling? I've sure as heck missed it.

No Ipad. I'm not much of a Apple guy myself. I have a found a free ap that is really awesome. I think it's only available on Android though. You can even put it on your phone. It alows you to download weather and everything. If you're interested, I'll give you the name.

Planning beforehand?!? Pssh. Flying by the seat of your pants is way more fun (pun intended...and I have zero experience actually flying a plane).

That's awesome that you guys have your licenses/are on target to have them. I'm sufficiently afraid of flying as it is as a mere passenger. Can't imagine being in actual control of the plane

Anyone have a link for Nike's potential uniforms for next year? Heard on radio they are out there somewhere. Googled it and no luck.

It's really a lot of fun. The biggest uh oh moment I had was when I took my first solo. I took off and did all the stuff immediately post takeoff and literally said something to my instructor and it hit me when I looked over and the seat was empty. I was like :blink:

It might not be the popular opinion, but this might be an SEC learning curve for the coaches. At CM and cincy, you don't have to worry much about guys feeling like they need all star treatment. Maybe a little, but they know they're at a 2nd rate program. In the SEC, you have to deal with guys who feel like they are an NFL lock as soon as they graduate high school.

There has to be a fine line between the "workmen like" mentality Butch talks about and working with some divas.

You can't let the prisoners run the jail (uga) because they will never have the discipline to pull through in the big games, but you can't be so hard nosed that the prime time ego that comes with prime time talent won't play for you.

So Bowling Green pretty much gets two bowl games in a row. The Raycom Bowl to end the season and then Vols in Nashville to start next year with a 1.2 payout. Works out good for both parties. All 3 parties if you include me only having to drive 2 1/2 hrs to Nashville instead of 6 to Knoxville.
