My ability to subdue a giant person has nothing to do with this. Why do you keep asking this question as though it will somehow convince me that there was no alternative than to kill the guy?

It has everything to do with it......the cops had to subdue him bc he resisted.....since u have a problem with their methods....what should they have done differently

What if I told you I was a hypnotist and that I could force him to comply just by snapping my fingers. Would that be a relevant point to discuss? Would my opinion be more or less acceptable based on that fact? What if I was a quadriplegic and was completely unable to do any physical damage to the man let alone detain him? Would my opinion be more or less valid? My opinion is that there were more options at the cops' disposal than killing the man. Your opinion is that I can't have an opinion unless I've tried to handcuff a pissed off grizzly bear. Wtf are you saying?

I'm not asking what u would u do personally....I meant what do u think the cops should have done? Tell me these options

They could have decided to go away and write J walking tickets. They could have warned him that they would be back shortly after a donut break, and that if he was still there, they would be forced to choke him to death. They could have resorted to some extreme measures such as waiting for more back up. They could have pretended not to see him selling cigs illegally. The imagination is limitless with ways they could have handled this without killing him.

So basically u r wanting the police to not do their job........how about garner comply with police orders and take his slap on the wrist and be alive today

It's called civil disobedience. If he were a founding father he would have protested these taxes by looting. He's not a founding father. He's not hurting anybody. He's just a guy trying to make a buck, so he's scum.

U have a problem with the lawmakers then.....not the ones enforcing the law....I can agree with that

I'm all for them taking a 10 minute donut break if they have no other means of doing their job than killing a non violent petty criminal. Yes.

I have a problem with both. We all give cops liberty to enforce the law when they see fit. They don't always ticket people for jaywalking. They don't always cite you for speeding. They definitely don't need to make it a physical confrontation over tobacco tax.

The lawmakers need stupid, non-thinking goons to carry out their thuggery. I don't like non-thinking goons. I'm not talking about all cops. I'm talking about the guy who choked someone to death.

The choke hold isn't what killed him....I don't know why you guys seem so hung up on the fact that the poor guy was choked.....there was no damage done to his windpipe and he didn't suffocate.....being an overweight, out of shape fat ass with a bad heart is what killed him.

You may think I'm disgusting...that's fine...the guy still should be held accountable to some degree for putting himself in that position.....
