As shady as CBJ is according to some, he may have orchestrated the entire collapse of UAB football just so he could get that TSU matchup instead and help out in this recruitment...lol.

I called Kyle the other day after his State Championship game and I could not get a hold of him..... From what I understand he has 3 "TOP" teams. My grandfather told me John Chavis was at the State championship game. So LSU is hot and heavy on Kyle. I was told LSU coaches had a in home visit today. So Ill call him tomorrow and see how it went.--I hope I can go on the Official with him to TN next week. --So I can get the real feel for everything. I will see him this weekend. Hopefully TN is leading! GO Vols!

Kind of stinks Butch didn't make it to the in home. Like it was alluded the parents thought would happen. In Butch we trust but seems like LSU rolling out carpets at this time.

I'm wondering if Butch does his in-home in the next couple of days, after Les visited and before Kyle visits this weekend.

:question: Yea, that's very uncharacteristic of Chavis. The biggest complaint everyone had of him when he was here, outside 3rd and Chavis, was his lack of recruiting. If he were to go out and heavily recruit a player, I would have expected the player to be a LB not a DE/DT.

It was a simple misunderstanding. Mom cooked a big meal but only CTT showed up. All has been clarified for the most psrt. I'll say this and i say it cautiously it could've crushed UT chances had it not been for a small groupof ppl in middle TN and their relationships with CBJ and staff. The negotiations for the opening game is an attempt to fix things. Before all of this KP was very close to committing to UT

Chief has been recruiting like this since being @ LSU and has been very activein mid-tenn area. Recruited a kid we had in NPA a few yrs bk who went to Duke and is a 5th yr Sr now named Dezmond Johnson. It kinda depends on what the HC allows.

From Gaililee on vq regarding Kyles mothers vusit this weekend.

Here is the situation. Her nephew who is very close to her is graduating from TSU on Saturday along with some other athletes. She will give it her best to join Kyle after the ceremony. Since my sister became president she has demanded that the athletic department increase their graduation rates. His mom as AD has worked very hard to accomplish that. She really needs to be at the ceremony. If she does not make it in on Saturday she plans to meet with CBJ very soon.

Seen him ranked the last few years as a top caliber recruiter...maybe it's due to Miles needing that from him whilst Phil handled it in Knoxville? : dunno:
