Here's a video I created from footage I took at the Missouri game. I think it captures the UT football tailgating and game experience. I particularly like the footage of the band's pre-game routine and the dude taking a tumble over the rail after the Ellis catch.

Per this link (College Football Bowl Schedule), the per team payout for Taxslayer Bowl is $2.75 million -- much higher than #Vols other options.

The wiki page for the bowl states the payout as of 2014 was $3.5 million. Of course, wiki is not known for solid facts.

In order of difficult of the opponents we possibly could have played:

1. Louisville
2. Notre Dame
3. West Virginia
4. Texas




5. Iowa

Seriously...is anyone remotely afraid of this team? We will have a massive talent advantage and they are statistically mediocre in every category. Barnett and Maggitt will feast. Provided the OL doesn't give up 5+ sacks, we should trounce them. Hawkeyes are probably worse than Kentucky overall.

Hopefully our team takes them seriously and takes them to the woodshed. We're not at a point in our rebuilding project where we can just roll it out there and win a bowl game. JMHO... :hi:

I think they did awesome with the bowls. Arky Texas is a classic rematch. Arky is thrilled with it.

We got a great one.

UGA Louisville is a great one.

Auburn Wisconsin is a great one.

LSU ND is a great one.

You're welcome! We enjoy making these videos of our trips. This is the first one I've thrown together for a football game. The Mac has great software for combining video/audio/photos and adding effects.

I'm trying to schedule time off to make the bowl game. I have a few employees also taking time that week so it could be tough. I'll post here --- or in a bowl game thread --- if I'm able to go. I'd love to share a beer with some VN people down there.

So..cool story bro moment..

Some of you guys know I've been going through an extremely rough & depressing time lately.

My mom almost passed away multiple times at the hospital over the past month..anyway my longtime girlfriend of 6 years took a break from me the week my mom got sick..she said she just wanted a little break & that she wanted us to get back together & start a family together in the future...Lol well the whole time my moms laying on her death bed & I thought she was about to die this girl wouldn't even speak to me. I was at the lowest point I've ever been in my life & she wouldn't even give me the time of day..and now I find out that she had already been with some other guy THREE DAYS after she wanted a break from me Lol..6 freaking years loving this girl with all of my heart and soul being good to her & never not once even thinking about being unfaithful or not treating her good & this is what I get..life really sucks sometimes.

Sorry guys..just needed to rant.
