Your argument is technically based on nothing because you do not know that taking an additional QB has/has not been discussed with the current commits. 6 months ago? Sure, CBJ may not have planned to recruit any additional QBs. If Peterman transfers, that leaves only one scholarship QB on the roster and the position definitely needs attention imo. Too many unknowns for you to be speaking so absolutely. Jmo...

How do you know what I do or don't know? Why are people assuming Peterman is transferring? What is that based on?

At this point, the coaches can only starting trading up and culling like the recruits are fish. Since that is the case, I suppose it's time for the recruits to reopen their recruiting and see if they can get a better offer from a better than mediocre team. Correct?

Also, Ferguson transferring was just business, right? No one here has as problem with that?

Ferguson left because he was not named the starter in spring. Also, we can sign more than 25 with the EE's. We cannot exceed the 85

Recruiting is always fluid, no different at any school that is after the best players they can get. Bama,LSU whoever. Nobody on here knows how the coaches deal with the always evolving situation. Nothing but pure speculation with 98% of message board folks. The coaches are doing just fine and will trust them more than the message boards in regards to all forms of recruiting. GO BIG ORANGE!!!!!

This is the smartest thing anyone has said in at least 40 pages. Competition makes the team better. Real ballers don't give a **** who they're competing with bc they have the confidence they'll win the job on the practice field.

Give me THAT sort of player every day of the week and someone else can deal with butthurt and bruised egos.

Im sure you are sitting there in the room when conversations take place. If you do know, then back it up with something other than your opinion. Otherwise, you are only throwing out baseless accusations that the coaching staff has wronged a recruit. Like I said you are speaking in a whole lot of absolutes when there are many unknowns. :hi:

And the Peterman stuff is rumor at this point, but wouldn't surprise anyone.

When Hurd and Kamara handle 90% of the load, you'll see a lot of transfers. People are very naïve to think these guys are just going to sit and wait 2-3 year for their turn.

Things will chill out when we have an entire new roster and proven contributors. IMO. Right now Butch is hustling to get enough gauranteed players to do what is needed on the field. We are not yet in management mode with many of our spots. If you watch closely those are the positions you see this occuring.

Ferguson QUIT and ran off because the starting job wasn't handed to him. I don't want anyone on my team who isn't willing to earn their spot.

Jones and Jake visited with Dormady before Jones this week so they could have mentioned it to him then considering the jones stuff came out later in wk. of course VolNation just assumes the worst and that coaches are the devil

What is being tossed around is number one a hypothetical and number 2 it is only happening at RB and QB where our depth is a big fat ? past one top shelf player. Sometimes you take more than needed because you have to make certain you have the 3-4 needed for SEC depth. Once you establish that baseline you add one or 2 great athletes per year.

He's been crazy with anything related to Dormady ever since he committed. He even tried to say that JJ had academic concerns at one point.
