Definitely not. But playing 2 FCS teams is absolutely stupid. There is no upside to it. Schedule some Sun Belt team.

We're already playing one FCS team (Western Carolina). Playing 2 means we'd need 7 wins for bowl eligibility. I don't like that at all.

i bet ut picks up south alabama and drops wcu. they have the same issue regarding uab on the 19th of sept

I don't know if its accurate but I read the other day that they can get a "waiver' from the NCAA for playing two FCS teams due to the circumstances. That's the only way it makes sense to me.

That could be a possibility. Only way I'd be okay with 2 FCS opponents. And even then, I don't really like it. But that may be our best option.

That is not necessarily UT's fault though. Finding another school to play this late in the season is very hard I imagine.

I don't know why they can't get Memphis to play us. Memphis had UAB scheduled as well as us so they should been looking for an additional game.
