Possibly unless you know something more certain than a twitter follow.

Who thinks we can beat WV?

WVU doesn't have a great defense. We have a shot against any team that doesn't have a great pass rush or Dline.

This is my concern. I have not watched them at all, but I do know they gave Alabama a scare in the beginning of the season. So who knows. Still, their air attack is solid, imo. Would have to bring our A game in the secondary.

Is it wrong to want a coach to be fired after one year? Wisenhunt has been nothing but a disappointment so far and I don't know why I thought he was an upgrade from Munchak, not much difference, IMO. We probably could've won more games with Munchak.

Yes Herbstreet was making his case last night for his alma mater. He said that OSU should jump TCU because TCU had beaten an inferior opponent compared to OSU. He neglected to mention that OSU was beaten by an unranked Vtech team at home. He also neglected to mention that OSU had basically practice games week in and week out.

I'd call it the "traditional powerhouse tiebreaker." If there's a tie between teams like Bama, OSU, ND, (and if we're honest UT would be in this category too as would Michigan and USC) and a smaller programs like TCU or Baylor then the powerhouse gets in. The traditional powers generate too much cash, interest, and ratings to be left out in that scenario.

The BCS computers might not have cared who you were although schedule strength was a factor but humans do. Name brands and large fan bases will win every time.

Here are some interesting stats if we were to play WVU.

WVU is 109th in sacks. Great news for us
WVU is 71st in rush defense. Similar to UGA this year.
WVU is 10th in passing offense. Tennessee is 36th in passing defense.
WVU is averages a -1.3 turnover margin which ranks 123rd.

All the 2nd tier bowls look good.

Except AZ and Boise. How is the #20 ranked team in a top bowl? If they're deserving, bump their ranking. If not, put in a more deserving team.

WVU is South Carolina part deux. We can win that game.

This isn't a terrible matchup for us like some people are acting. Their DL not being great is huge. Dobbs will have to play better than he did the last 2 weeks though. But that applies to almost any team we could play.

We're already playing one FCS team (Western Carolina). Playing 2 means we'd need 7 wins for bowl eligibility. I don't like that at all.

Just called someone at the Liberty Bowl, they said they'll announce around 3ish.
