I want you to picture the offense of a stacked double wr set and what the difference between sec football is and anyome else. Try UT, we would have cam Sutton play close as man to man and then either Todd Kelly or Randolph to bracket the coverage in the PAC 12 they play the ole 3rd and chavis defense and allow the receiver to catch while the other blocks one db. I am so happy to be a VFL but if something did happen to butch we better be smarter then take a coach from pac-10(12)

Really, it is a shame because when he wants to he can actually write a decent article. But decent articles don't provide him the instant attention twitter does. However, he needs to make up his mind very soon about what he wants to be - a Finebaum/Travis style sports entertainer or a sports reporter. If it's the latter then his twitter behavior is shooting his credibility as a reporter all to hell and he needs to clean it up before he does it even more harm.

I gave up on him when he pitched an absolute tantrum on twitter over girl issues a couple years ago...and proceeded to rip anyone that dared to question him.

He really, REALLY needs to get out of this market if he wants to get better. He's too close to a lot of things and I think he compensates by trying to act hyper-professional which ends up in a dumpster fire most of the time.

I hope one way or another they allow FSU to move up and bama plays oregon because they will kill this small and somewhat speedy offense.

He has beat them the last two times they played. He has Arizona ranked 7th. It's pretty apparent Hoke's success at Michigan was a result of Rich Rod too, look how that progression went.

Has anyone noticed we run the same type of offense as Oregon. I've watched Oregon all year and currently watching them now. They literally run the same formations.

I think they throw it downfield a lot more and less behind the Los, but I've heard several x/o guys say Butch modeled his O off Kelly.

We will see more down the field attack when the QB can throw a better deep ball and we have healthy down field threats.

Dobbs needs to iron out the long ball, and north, Malone, croom and smith next year need to go up and get em.

This offense will be deadly when other teams know they have to cover the deep ball.
