Not really improvement all year long, but at least something.
You give any inexperienced kid 1000 reps of live action on the OL and IMO there should be a night and day difference in his performance.
I am not sure about this line of thinking. If I got 1000 reps, I may improve by slowing the guy down 0.1 second more, but at 5'8", 190, the DL would still go around me...quickly. But, you can't improve talent. If a guy isn't talented enough, then he won't be able to play the position. We had at least 2 OL who were playing out of position. Kerbyson and Thomas are better suited inside, and you simply can't improve their "talent." They are talented enough to play but not at tackle. JMO.

Hey Volatil I don't know if you've ever met the Union City kicker at any camps but he set the state record for extra points in a season today. I built two field goals at his house about 4 years ago so I am a bit proud. UC did have to score a lot of TDs to make it happen but he had to make em too.
I don't really care if a kid SHOULD be playing OG, but is playing OT out of need. After 1000 reps I'd expect the kid to be better at what he is doing. I get it's not ideal, but a lot of times this year just getting in the guys way would have helped. If you are 6'4 and 305 instead of 6'6 and 315, I still feel it's reasonable to see improvement. At least don't whiff on block after block. Get some kind of push in the run game. SOMETHING!
